Beautiful House On Grass Runway With Fly-In/Fly-Out Access

Located a few miles from downtown Tecumseh, MI, the house is located on 10 acres of land, including a wooded area with walking trails. It is also part of the Merillat Airport (34G) community, a grass runway. Perfect for fly-in/fly-out guests, or if you just want to sit on the back balcony or by the fire pit and watch planes take off and land. The house is also 25 miles away from Ann Arbor and University of Michigan and 20 miles from MIS. It is also only minutes away from both Tecumseh and Adrian, both with beautiful shops and great restaurants! It is also a central location for many wedding venues and golf courses as well.

Minimum night stay is set to two nights. If you would like to request a one-night stay, please send me a message and I will approve based on your request. Thanks!

Lisa has been a professional photographer for 14 years. She specializes in Family, Children, HS Seniors and Pet Portraits. We are looking forward to creating beautiful artwork and/or albums of your family or event.

Portrait sitting fee - $175
Group event - $350/hr with 2 hr min.

The house was very roomy and suited our needs. We were in town to celebrate our son’s wedding at a nearby venue and were able to use the house as a home base for us and some extended family. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant experience.

Beautiful home.Has everything a family would need. Grounds are kept up beautifully. However needs updated something terrible. Lots of chipped paint and wallpaper peeling.Used bar soap left in showers. Shampoo and conditioner claimed on website are just what someone has left behind. Not enough washrags. Water pressure is AWFUL. One person can shower at a time and no toilets can be flushed while person is in shower. All this said, we'd probably stay here again because the home is nice and comfortable.

Family getaway

Check in was smooth. Owner was very responsive. Conveniently located with lots of entertainment options. Kitchen was well stocked and deck was a pleasant surprise we spent a lot of time out there. We had the opportunity to see some planes flying up close. Unique house with lots of character.

Great location

Stayed for 4 nights for a wedding at a venue 1/2 mile away. Plenty of room for family to stay overnight in 1 of the 5 bedrooms. They deck and yard were great spaces to spread out. The house was clean with comfortable furniture. Host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly.

Relaxing stay with family

This house was perfect for a quiet and relaxing week with the family
. We were close to Ann Arbor and were able to go see a U of M softball game and tour the campus. It’s a beautiful 45 minute drive to U of M. We spent most days fishing at Wamplers lake which was only 20 minutes away. The house has plenty of room for friends and family to visit and is set up perfectly for a family bbq with a large deck with a table and umbrella. Everything is there that you need to cook. Jerry’s Market was a great place to pick up what we need to grill. The game room downstairs has all the entertainment you could want for big and small kids
. Pool, shuffleboard, and air hockey. There’s a basketball hoop in the driveway and tons of yard for outdoor fun. We saw a few planes land and takeoff, which was exciting for everyone. The downstairs bedroom offers plenty of privacy for guests, with a separate entrance. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for all. My 13 year old loved the log cabin themed bedroom
. We hope to be able to come back soon!

Great family gathering

The property was ideal for our 9 person group from 4 different family households. Great space, layout, etc. and it was decorated really nicely for Christmas. This was our second consecutive year staying at this property.We had a few questions during our stay and the owner was extremely responsive and helpful each time.

Stellar location for families

Wonderful home for a group. The house was in great shape, kept very clean and even with decorations for the holiday. This is the largest property that I’ve booked for a larger get-together, and wasn’t remotely disappointed. Host was incredibly helpful and communicative before, during, and after our stay.

Wedding close by

It was raining outside but beautiful inside. Very roomy and comfy to come home to after tearing it up on the dance floor. Mainly did breakfast there and cards and games at night

The airport community is very friendly and kind and it is VERY peaceful at night with a fire in the fire pit or just watching the stars and fireflies on a summer night. In the winter, it's relaxing to watch from the kitchen table the snow falling in the backyard.

The town of Tecumseh has many unique shops and there are great bars and restaurants as well. The Michigan International Speedway is 20 minutes away, Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan, including the stadium, is 25 minutes away. Wampler Lake and many other lakes are about 20 minutes away as well.
