WAKE N' UP (Floating House @ Whitman Hollow)

This upgraded 3-bedroom 1-bath Floating Home is located at Whitman Hollow Marina, home of Froggies Patio Bar(best wings on the lake). Home is recently remodeled with new water purification system, hot water heater and WIFI. New for 2023 is upgraded electric, AC / Heat Pump, washer/dryer and new stove. This house boasts a fully equipped kitchen and an open floor plan.
Let's face it, you're renting this for the water and to be outside. No steps to the water. Just walk out the door and jump in. The exterior has a large, covered deck with ceiling fans, gas grill, patio tables and chairs. The house also has an attached sundeck area and a spot to park your PWC.

*THIS IS A FLOATING HOUSE, MUST HAVE A BOAT / PWC TO ACCESS*

Great location. Easy to get to and from. The only issue I had was cleanliness and the couch was uncomfortable. There was dog hair in clumps on the floor , food stuck in the couch and the cabinets had some kind of sticky substance. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

I loved the layout of the floating house. It was like a cottage on the water. Everything was as described and thoughtfully furnished. The outside area was the best in the lake in terms of space, seating arrangements and comfort!

Great little Gem on Norris Lake

The floating house was a first and fun experience for our family. The house looked cute online but it was very beautiful inside! The bedrooms are tight but we didn't care. We were only in them to sleep. Everything we needed was stocked from cookware to trash bags to dish detergent to bath towels. The porch was nice with plenty of furniture, a bar and a big screen TV. It's so close to the marina you can listen to the live music without taking your boat over. We had a great time and loved our stay!

Wonderful Weekend on the Lake

The houseboat was perfect for our weekend get-together. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked. We had everything we needed and then some. The outdoor space was wonderful. We had all of our meals outside. Plenty of shade and comfy chairs for relaxing. Fun time.

Very Relaxing

Great floating house with everything you need! Outdoor area provides plenty seating for sun and shade. Owner very responsive to any needs. We will definitely be back!

Everyone was friendly and we had all that we needed. The house was stocked with everything advertised. It was all very clean and tidy, plenty of room for us with an amazing covered patio and numerous chairs/loungers.

Mother/ Daughter weekend

Very relaxing, close to restaurant but far enough away not to be disturbed. We enjoyed the kayak and paddle board. The fire pit was an added bonus. Only trouble was finding the Wi-Fi password. Would definitely recommend this property.

Family and Friends Vacation

Couldn’t say enough wonderful things about our vacation at Wake N’ Up on Norris Lake. The house was just a described. Great location, clean, owner was always quick to respond, froggy’s at the Marina has great food and entertainment. We highly recommend others booking a trip! Thanks Paul!

Fun Stay

This is a great place to stay if you want to experience true lake life! There was plenty of space and the owner was very fast to answer any questions! Floating houses do have their quirks and limitations similar to an RV or camper, so prepare accordingly. We'd definitely book again!
