Dog Friendly Maison / Chalet Ă  une Winery & Vineyard!

Venez profiter d'un week-end escapade au coeur de la Caroline du Nord pays du vin, dĂ©guster quelques grands vins, promenade dans les vignes, et vous dĂ©tendre avec les couchers de soleil spectaculaires sur les montagnes Blue Ridge. Nous sommes les chiens, avec une grande aire de jeux clĂŽturĂ©e! SituĂ© juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de I-77 et I-74 prĂšs de Mt Airy, et Ă  seulement 9 miles au large de la Blue Ridge Parkway, notre maison de cave Ă  Round pic Vineyards est un grand point d'arrĂȘt, mĂȘme si vous ĂȘtes de passage! Une dĂ©gustation de vin gratuite pour un maximum de 8 personnes est incluse. Il y a aussi un parcours de golf de 18 trous sur place.

En mai 2011, nous avons rĂ©novĂ© la maison de la cave, remodelant les deux salles de bains, ajoutant une 4Ăšme chambre et ouvrant le plan d'Ă©tage pour crĂ©er un lieu idĂ©al pour des fĂȘtes de 8 personnes pour se dĂ©tendre et s'amuser.

Round pic Vineyards est situé dans le Yadkin Valley AVA, assis à 1300 ft. En altitude dans les contreforts des Blue Ridge Mountains. Nous avons actuellement 11 acres de vignes produisant 12 cépages français et italiens. Tous nos vins primés sont immobilier en bouteille, en utilisant uniquement les raisins cultivés dans notre vignoble. Venez déguster nos vins primés et visiter notre cave! Ensuite, profiter des nombreuses activités dans les domaines surround, y compris plus de 30 caves à proximité.

The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay
plenty of kitchen items, linens and comfortable beds and living area
also a very nice screened in porch! You cannot beat the views of the vineyard and gorgeous sunsets too!

The home was everything you could ask for a wonderful weekend away! Amazing views from the screened in porch was absolutely perfect for morning coffee, breakfast, and a enjoying the evening with a glass of wine.

Beautiful Vineyard Stay

Amazing views of the winery and mountains in the distance. Loved that we were able to bring our pup and were just a few short steps away from the winery tasting room. Definitely recommend for those looking for a quaint NC peaceful getaway!!

Very comfortable and great located at the Round Peak Winery

We really enjoyed our stay at the Round Peak Winery. The "cabin" was very comfortable and well stocked for our stay. The setting at the winery is beautiful and was nice to have access to the winery / brewery for beverages. We would definitely stay there again on future visits.

A wonderful family Christmas

Ken, thank you so much for a wonderful experience at your rental at RoundPeak Vineyard! We enjoyed all the aspects of the house and the gorgeous view from the home. Everything was comfortable and clean and my entire family thoroughly enjoyed their time there.

Highly Recommend

This cabin is everything we wanted it to be. Great location, well stocked, beautiful views, quiet yet convenient. The winery had music and delicious snacks as well as a variety of wines and beer. The host was responsive from the booking to the exit and went out of his way to meet all of our needs. I highly recommend and I will be returning myself! Thank you!

March stay

This was a wonderful house for 6 adults. The owner was so gracious and available to help with any questions. The server at the winery was very pleasant, and we thoroughly enjoyed the wine that we had at our tasting. The mountains were beautiful in the distance. My leashed dogs loved roaming the winery grounds.

The "Napa Valley" of North Carolina

Awesome vineyard property with a great vacation home. Close to town but just far away enough to enjoy total relaxation in rustic comfort. You can't beat Round Peak for a fantastic vacation.

Hi everyone! We are Kari Heerdt and Ken Gulaian, and as the owners of Round Peak Vineyards, we'd like to introduce ourselves and our team. We met in Cincinnati in 1998 when we both worked for General Electric. We moved to Charlotte, NC in 2000 for a new job opportunity, loved it, and decided North Carolina was where we would stay. Careers got in the way though, and in 2006 we moved to San Francisco for Kari's work. This proved to be instrumental since it resulted in a lot of time spent enjoying wine in Napa, Sonoma, and especially the Dry Creek Valley. We particularly enjoyed the small family owned wineries. When we got the chance to return to North Carolina in 2008, again for Kari's work, we jumped at the chance. Ken had already decided it was time to give up the corporate world, and when we found out there was an opportunity to own a winery in North Carolina, we couldn't resist! After visiting, being impressed with the wines, and seeing the spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, we decided to take the challenge.

When we purchased the winery, we saw the potential to create a really unique rental opportunity, where you can stay right in the heart of wine country, relax and enjoy some fantastic views, but still get out and participate in the many activities in the region. We spent a year upgrading the house, and the surrounding area, to make it an ideal place for a group to stay.
