Welcome to The Rock House by TheGardenessTx—a stylish 1973 mid-century oasis designed by founder Stephanie to cultivate connection, tranquility, and wellness.

Tucked in a quiet Round Rock neighborhood just outside Austin, this pet-friendly 3BR/2BA home blends bohemian warmth with thoughtful comforts: plush linens and robes, premium mattress toppers, soothing colors, books and records, and cozy zones to gather or unwind.

Step onto the cedar deck surrounded by greenery and stone walls, sink into the 7-person hot tub, or curl up beside the stucco outdoor fireplace under Texas stars. Inside, an open living/dining area and fully equipped kitchen make hosting easy—whether it’s a couples’ recharge, friends’ weekend, or a family stay with the pups.

Beautiful home in a great location near downtown Round Rock. I have stayed in many VRBOs and this one is by far the nicest. Clean, plenty of towels, amazing kitchen, relaxing backyard with hot tub, comfortable beds. I appreciated the coffee, shampoo & conditioner, laundry detergent, hair dryer— it is so nice to not have to pack these items. I highly recommend!

Perfect Family Time

This property was perfect for our family gathering. It was spotlessly clean and just as listed. The neighborhood was quiet, well maintained and safe. The backyard area was very private with mature trees, a sparkling, hot tub, a fireplace with seating, a table and chairs for dining and a clean grill. This mid-century modern house is beautiful inside and out. Well stocked kitchen with the cutest seating area for gathering with family or friends. Beds were so comfortable with plenty of pillows. Bathrooms include a jetted, soaker tub, walk-in shower, and tub shower combination. Something for everyone. Other perks
 a well stocked game area, plenty of trash bags, plenty of laundry necessities. Communication with the owner was impeccable. She communicated before, during and after our stay. We can’t say enough for how perfect this house was. We definitely would stay here again.

Beautiful Place to Stay

Everything was very clean and beautiful. Very nice place to stay that made for an enjoyable time. The property manager was very helpful and gracious. I would highly recommend staying here!

Perfect Rental

We were here for a soccer showcase. We enjoyed how close the house was to everything and the house was amazing! The backyard was really relaxing for everyone. Highly recommend for families. The neighborhood is very peaceful. We can’t wait to stay here again!
