Always the best from the beautiful deck, to the cozy and always clean inside! It’s my go to in the area regardless if I’m solo or with family/friends. Darlene is an absolute gem!

Beautifully set up, extremely clean home near state parks and the Purple Fiddle. We really enjoyed the grill and fireplace. We had everything we needed to cook all meals here. Very cozy- loved the decor. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was perfect for our family, with comfortable living and sleeping arrangements. I especially appreciated the comfortable pillows. The place was well stocked and the location was a short drive to town and hiking. While close enough to walk to the town, the road had only a narrow shoulder so I did not feel comfortable doing so.

We loved the location. Check-in was after dark and later than we expected but the instructions provided were clear and easy to follow. Very Clean! We will defiantly return and stay with this host again.

Great weekend in Thomas/Davis

Rental was perfect for our weekend. Had everything we needed and more. The highways is pretty busy but the privided white noise machine really helped. We will stay again for sure

Very nice modern property. Convenient to Thomas, Davis, and all the wonderful outdoor activities in Canaan Valley. We hiked a lot of miles and slept well at night.

Very Nice! Awesome set-up for guests from the bedrooms, the private bath, the spacious living area, and the well stocked kitchen. Spacious deck and super convenient to food & drinks, to outdoor activities, live music, etc. can’t go wrong with this property

Perfect weekend getaway

Location was perfect and place was clean with all you need. Spacious bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. Close to Blackwater Falls and Douglas Falls. Lots of cute shops and close to Davis for more art shops. Highly recommend this place!

Crafting and Skiing in a Quirky Snow Storm

The unit was much more than we expected, even with the beautiful pictures of the online listing. Darlene was able to extend our stay an extra night due to the snow storm, giving me an extra day of skiing!

Quick Christmas Getaway

My family of four and fur baby had a wonderful time. We chose this place for the location. It was very close to Blackwater Falls where we went sledding and sight seeing. We enjoyed the local shops. We brought food for the first night since it was Christmas and appreciated the pots and pans and spices. We got burritos the 2nd night. Yumm! We also enjoyed a glass blowing demonstration up the road a mile or so. On our last day we got coffee and pastries from Tip Top coffee. We appreciated their GF options. Overall it was a wonderful trip. We would love to come back!
