C&C Ski Factory-Ski in/Ski Out

Located in the heart of Mt. Crested Butte, you will be near many attractions. For a drink or dinner out, you are within walking distance of Butte 66 and Crested Butte Burger company. Rent your skis (Crested Butte Rental & Demo Center) and hit the slopes within walking distance of your stay. After a hard day on the slopes or a leisurely hike (on the nearby hiking trails in the summer), you can relax in the community hot tub or grill out on the gas grill in the common area.

Come in and relax by the gas fireplace on the comfortable couch. The kitchen/living room, laundry, and one of the bathrooms are located on the main level. Up the spiral staircase to the bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and adjoining bath. Put the kids or extra guests in the other bedroom with the bunk twin/full bed.

There is parking for 1 vehicle in front of the Buttes. Take the first set of stairs to the back of the building and here you are! It doesn't get much better than this.

Great location

First time in crested butte, all good things to say about this place. Make sure to eat at Thai Chili during your stay, fantastic food and even better staff!

Ski CB with easy access to slopes

Great property! Nothing like being able to ski right to the front door. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 1 kid. Will definitely look to book again next year.

Great CB Ski Condo

Easy access to the base lifts and the transportation center. Condo was perfect for the 4 of us. Communication with the property manager was great. Would return.

Perfect location

Our 3rd year at CB and this was our favorite condo so far. Great location for ski-in/ski-out and great views. Easiest check in as well. Definitely want to stay here on our next trip.

Great location and quiet corner unit

We loved this location and the condo worked great for my family as a great warm oasis due the 3 feet of snow that fell during our stay. I was able to go out for morning powder laps and then come back for the kids later in the day at lunchtime by literally skiing up to the front door.

Access was provided well in advance, place had everything we needed but food and our ski gear :) Place was very clean and just as listed! Loved our stay at a great ski in and out place at one of our favorite ski resorts!

Crested Butte Beauty

C&C Ski Factory - as they affectionately call the place - was perfect for us. Location is ideal at the base of the mountain with lots to do. The condo is the right size, well appointed, and immaculate. It made for a very nice trip for us.

Ski In/Ski Out fun!

We enjoy staying at the Butte's condos! This unit is an end unit. It was nicely appointed with everything we needed for our 4 nights. We love the big mudroom with a washer/dryer right next to it. The condo does show some signs of aging, but it was still very comfortable and clean. My family would definitely stay here again!

Comfy Condo

This was a great week in Mt. Crested Butte. We were very comfortable in our listing. The condo was very clean with great views. It was close to the mountain lifts, shops, and restaurants.

Great property!

My children ages 6, 8, and 11 were all able to truly ski right up to the back door at the end of a long day! It was so nice! They loved the bunk room and spiral stairs. We would recommend this condo to a family!

Great ski in/out location

Enjoyed the place and stay, very cozy feel. The ski in/out was ideal. Only had one question while there regarding location of hot tub. Response was right away. Kitchen well stocked. Towels and sheets just fine.

The unit was small but adequate for two adults. Certain things about it were not very well explained. First, there were two flights of outdoor stairs that had to be navigated from the parking lot to get to the unit. This was not easy with icy footing whilst carrying luggage, skis and groceries. Second, while close to the slopes, there was no way you could “ski out” to thm. It required about 100 yards of walking to get to the edge of the slopes. It is possible to ski back to the unit from the edge of the slopes as long as there’s enough snow on the ground. So the listing should be “Ski In” only. The unit itself was warm and comfortable with a nice view of the mountains and the slopes just above the base. You have to navigate a circular stair to get to the two bedrooms, however. So not ADA accessible. All the appliances worked well. The only thing about the TV that was really frustrating was that it’s on Roku, and there were no instructions on how to navigate or add apps to it. And it required a Roku PIN # to add any apps. There was no ROKU PIN# provided. So we could not access apps that we subscribe to ourselves (like YouTube TV). We loved CB overall, but my rating reflects the lack of clarity about the unit and its accessibility. Still a good value for the price, and we would come back again with full disclosure.

Family Getaway to Start 2024

The property is excellently located for ski in/out. The property perfectly fit our needs. An easy booking and communication process. My only wish is that they would follow up to confirm that you received the check in instructions, mine bounced to my junk mail and took some finding.

Perfect location

This condo was clean, had easy access to slopes and was just as pictured. We would def recommend it. It does have a spiral staircase for upstairs so if you have trouble with stairs this would prob not be the place for you but we were all good with it.

Comfortable and Convenient to Mountain

We had a wonderful vacation with my family of four at this condo. It was right at the base of the mountain with beautiful views. Easy access to lifts for hiking and biking. The town was a 10-minute drive. There is also a free shuttle bus that we used which was very convenient. The kitchen was well appointed if you plan to cook. There were also several restaurants within walking distance. The check-in was seamless. This was one of three places we stayed during a Colorado road trip and the communication and simplicity were outstanding. I would recommend this for a family summer or winter.

great condo./few suggestions

This condo was nice, roomy enough for 2 people- might have been tight for 4. Everything was as advertised. Great location on Mt Crested Butte. A few suggestions: more lighting would be very nice- it was too dark to sit in a chair/read at night- same with the bedrooms. Written instructions on how to use the TV is mandatory. We are smart folks, but the TV system alluded us. Lastly, most condo's have at least some staples in the cupboards, ie: cooking oil and some basic spices, etc. These cupboards were bare! Not a big issue, but good to have known ahead of time. All in all a nice place and we would stay there again.

Snowboarding in CB

The condo at Butte Condos was very well presented. Everything in its place. Lots of bath towels and supplies. Great location, well situated near the base lifts and Town Shuttle stop. A few light bulbs (stove top and a table lamp) needed to be replaced. All kitchen appliances worked well. We asked for the driveway to be plowed, but this never happened. I even spoke with the plow service; they said they would but didn't ever get it done. This really left us not wanting to use our car during our stay as we were afraid we would not be able to get it parked without risking a fender bender while sliding around the ice.

Nice family getaway

This condo is a nice launching spot for your Crested Butte activities. Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teen boys) stayed here for a long weekend, and it met our needs well. There was storage in the closets so you could actually unpack your bags. What a treat! The location is great - so close and walkable to the lifts, easy parking, right on the mountain, and an easy drive to town. There were a few minor issues/lack of attention to detail. There is a small balcony but no chairs so it's sadly not really usable. A number of light fixtures had burned out bulbs, including the main foyer and both bathrooms; the upstairs bathroom light flickered horribly so it couldn't be used. Those were unfortunately not ideal locations for a lack of light. Also, the departure instructions stated to start a load of laundry but no laundry detergent could be found anywhere. A little TLC by the management group would help keep this cozy place at its best.
