The spacious “LavaBarn” in Lava Hot Springs

Welcome to the “Lava Barn” the perfect gathering place for large families. Our home is located in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. The Lava Barn was originally the centerpiece of a dairy farm established in the 1940’s. While the barn itself has been totally remodeled, the charm of the dairy still remains. The property is located 5 minutes from downtown where you’ll find epic river tubing and the famous Lava Hot Springs.

The main level of the LavaBarn is the central gathering area for cooking, eating, relaxing, playing games, and watching movies. This level includes a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining area, a gas fireplace, a 75" TV, a massage chair (yep!) and a full bathroom.

Overlooking the main gathering area is the king master suite, located in the loft. The suite includes a 55" TV and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.

There are three bedrooms located on the lower level. Two of these bedrooms (one king and one queen) include a 55" TV and a set of bunk beds each (twin over full).

The third bedroom is located in a more secluded area of the lower level. This area has its own living room, bathroom, and bedroom. The bedroom has a queen bed and a set of twin bunks. The living room has a pullout sofa and a 55" TV. This space is perfect for families in the group with smaller children who need more room to spread out. A pack n' play/travel crib is located in this space.

In total, there are 4 full bathrooms at the LavaBarn. Three have walk-in showers and one includes a shower/tub combo (located on the main level).

Outside there is a large patio area with places to sit and watch the sunset, listen to trains passing by, or gaze at the stars.
