The Firefly is located in heart of Dawson, Texas only a short drive to beautiful natural landscapes of country fields, small businesses, and five minute drive to the Navarro Mills Lake. You will enjoy the rural charm of a small town off the main road that will take you straight into Waco if you go West 40 minutes or Corsicana if you go East 30 minutes. The Firefly is 1.15 hours away from Dallas, Texas. The internet is 500/500. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation spot, we welcome you to the Firefly.

Everything was clean and met all our needs. The shower was the only problem we had. There was little water pressure and hard for a 6 foot 2 person to shower in.

I’m just hearing about this as we definitely would’ve taken care of the pressure had we known it was an issue. We are currently touching base with our current stay to make sure that it is still not an issue. Please reach out in the future If you have any issues. Quiet, clean and cozy

Nice and quiet, google messed up the address, however it is not far off a main road. Good for a 1 or 2 night stay if you have more than 2 people. The look and feel of it was very welcoming.

Getaway

A great little place to get away from the big city. Definitely a quiet town and a good place to spend a few nights when in or around the area. We spent most of the day in Waco- only a 30 minute drive, and love that we didn’t have to sleep in the city. Perfectly peaceful.

Very clean and cozy

It was very clean and super cozy, we loved that there was a lil bar and things to cook with as well as some spices. The lake nearby is nice to go swimming in. Plus there’s Waco and Corsicana nearby. Watching movies at nighttime in bed was so cozy we loved just chilling out at the end of the night. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Wonderful place

My husband and I stayed one night at The Firefly on the way to our vacation destination. The Firefly was quaint, peaceful and clean. I actually wish we could have stayed longer because it was so nice. Our host was very attentive and informative when I asked questions before hand and during our stay. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We highly recommend The Firefly.

Get away weekend

We had a great stay at the Firefly! The Firefly was clean and cozy and met our needs perfectly. We were only in town for a short time so we didn't take advantage of all the provided amenities. The property owner was amazing with communication and made the extra effort to have our favorite snacks and drinks stocked for our arrival. Highly recommend the Firefly, and would certainly return again.

Gracious hosts, quaint cottage

We had a bathroom mishap that eventually led to a plumber being called. Cody was very responsive and went above and beyond to get the issue resolved. We were very impressed with the quick responses. The cottage itself was very cute and the attention to detail was very appreciated.
