This modern farmhouse is located on 22 acres in the Amana Colonies. The views are spectacular from both sides of the house. It is surrounded by friendly farm animals including mini donkeys, a mini horse, Alpacas, A llama, kune kune pigs, baby doll sheep, goats, chickens and free ranging peacocks! We are located just 4 miles from main Amana with shops, restaurants and bars. Grab a cup of coffee, sit on our patio to watch the sunrise and then take a walk around our beautiful 22 acre property!

Very nice house. Clean and comfortable. Weather was to cold to walk outside but if it was nice, it would have been fun to walk around see all the animals.

Wonderful stay. It was clean, well decorated and cozy. Snowed 6 inches overnight and the host cleaned off our car and had the driveway plowed by 8am. It was so considerate. We loved visiting the animals and the peaceful country setting.

Oh my, did we have a wonderful weekend at the Modern Farmhouse! It was a perfect place to have Christmas with our two daughters, their husbands, and their little ones. The house had everything we needed. I was especially grateful for the Christmas tree to place our presents under, the large sectional, two dining tables, and views of the animals out every window! The friendly spotted pig was our favorite! Memories were made that we will cherish forever.

Great location to the Amanas. House was well stocked with all necessities and beds were very comfortable. The animals were a hoot and the hosts were the kindest we’ve ever had at a VRBO. They showed us around the property and the beautiful wedding venue they own.

Even on a cold windy December day I would highly recommend staying here! Deda was the best hostess! The house was clean and inviting! The beds were so comfortable! And the animals were the highlight!

Girls Christmas weekend

It was so quiet & peaceful. It was really great to stay at a farm with so many animals around. Perfect size for the 3 of us. The Communication from the just was the best! We had some bad weather and they made sure to check on us and see if we needed anything, I’d stay here again!

Amazing Home with an Animal View

Had a Great Experience! Was so peaceful and relaxing with the Best view! We had Peacock’s and Chicken’s greet us when we pulled in. Loved walking around the 22 acres and looking at all the friendly animals. The house was completely redone with beautiful decor. We will definitely stay here again!
