The Space:
You'll be greeted by an impressive, spacious great room flooded with natural light from soaring windows met with a vaulted ceiling and exposed timbers. This newly updated home, along with fresh furnishings, was carefully curated to inspire comfort. The rich tones in the new floor contrast the white walls in the large adjacent bedrooms to strike a perfect balance.
This beautiful, mid-century home, which was designed and built by my grandparents, offers a fully equipped kitchen including coffee, creamer, bottled water and assorted soft drinks.
Upon entering the house there are seven steps to go down to the main floor. Everything is on the main floor of the house.
The washer and dryer are available for you to use. Parking is available on our paved driveway. Relax with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine or barbeque on the gas grill on the backyard patio.

Guest Access:
The entire home is accessible to guests except the the garage and upstairs area which is unfurnished and never occupied. Upon entering the house there are seven steps to go down to the main floor.

This well established, quiet neighborhood is perfectly appointed near all of Madison's attractions.

You may see wildlife on the property including deer and squirrels.

Terrific stay. Matt and Linda’s Artist A-Frame is better than advertised. Clean and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood short distance from Madison and Clifty Falls. Well stocked. Slept great on the King bed mattress. TV easy to figure out - cast streaming from phone. Loved the shady breezeway for some relaxing reading. Excellent. Highly recommend, especially for a couple getaway.

The Artist's A Frame

Madison is fairly rural with no Interstate highway. You'll be driving on two lane road for a good clip. To avoid tolls near the major cities, use Google maps.The Artist's A Frame is located in a quiet suburban-like area on a cul-de-sac with two golf courses nearby. It has two bedrooms, a nice kitchen, dining area, large living room, and patio with a BBQ and umbrella covered table.Fridge is an adequate side-by-side with an ice maker. It had complimentary waters and sodas. There was also a basket of snacks on the counter.The dish washer is showing its age, but the newer glass top electric oven was good for cooking breakfast.Linens and towels were plentiful as were cleaning solutions -- dish soap, dishwasher and washing machine pods, Bounce sheets, Shout stain remover, etc.Beds are a king size (master bedroom), queen sized in 2nd bedroom, and were comfortable. There's a charging station in each for plugging in four devices at once.The wifi was good with signals both inside and outside the house.There is a Kroger and Aldi nearby, but no Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, or Total Wine. Get things from those stores on the way from the airport.On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd rate the Artist's A Frame an 9. Really enjoyed the place, I'd return, and highly recommend a stay along with your KY/IN/OH adventure.

Great stay!

Stayed for the weekend to hike at Clifty Falls. Great location to the state park and downtown restaurants. Really pretty house with everything you’d need for a stay. Host was super nice to interact with as well. Thanks again!

Just perfect!

We were a group of three longtime friends in town for a holiday weekend together. The Artist’s A-Frame was the perfect place to retire at the end of a great day of shopping and eating. The home was clean, cozy, and well-appointed, and it was located in a lovely neighborhood. The owners were very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend the A-Frane!

Perfect location for a brief overnight.

We were heading to Madison for the evening and I was lucky enough to find this listing open for the night we needed. It was in a great location and quick drive downtown, quiet neighborhood and one of the most well stocked rentals we ever stayed in. Thank you for everything. We would definitely use again.

Amazing stay

We stayed for a couple days to hike Clifty Falls. We were amazed with the clean and beautiful property. The house is in a quiet location, close to downtown and the falls. We would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the Madison area! You won’t be disappointed! The hosts are very responsive and kind! Thank you so much!

Fabulous A-Frame

The hosts were phenomenal!!! This experience far surpassed my expectations. The house had everything I needed. The pictures and the layout of the property were right on. Location is right in the middle of upper and lower Madison. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Don't let this A-Frame pass you bye.

Such a cute house. Loved having the water, snacks, pop, and especially the coffee available. Close to downtown and of course like be driving the scenic highway. Very friendly hosts, lots of personal touches. Thank you, would definitely stay there again.

Incredible Hospitality!!

We were blown away!! This was our first VRBO experience for a girls trip and it exceeded our expectations. They left us fresh flowers, a thank you note, snacks, drinks, and had just thought of EVERYTHING we could need throughout the house. We were especially impressed by the communication- they provided us with suggestions of what to do around Madison as well as just letting us know they were available if we had any questions. Cannot recommend enough!

Quiet Get-Away

This was our second visit to Madison and by far the best. The Artist's A-Frame was perfect, from the beautiful decorations, comfortable bed, and every amenity. We just wanted a quiet little get away from the day to day, and this was the answer. It is definitely on our "do again" list. So grateful for those who share their little paradises with others!
