Very spacious lodging with almost more outdoor and semi outdoor porch and deck space than indoor! Great place for families looking to relax with lots of outdoor activities around. Was a nice stay in winter, but I would also like to go back in the summer! Guests can get a day pass to an indoor pool, but it isn't heated and the hot tub wasn't open. Brr. Warm up by the fireplace in the house.

Top of the mountains

We enjoyed the stay, it was very relaxing and spacious. The kitchen and dinning area was perfect for our family of 8. The mildew smell encompassed the lower level. But overall everyone enjoyed the stay.

Spacious house on quiet wooded lot - perfect for large groups

We stayed here to attend our family reunion nearby so we didn't get to spend as much time in the house as I would have liked. The house was spacious and well kept. Would absolutely visit again!

Wonderful home!

Great House with great price

The host was amazing and the host's response time was super fast. The price was great for a the big house that is located 5 mins of winery, brewery, and outdoor activities. Also, only 15 mins from the town to grab food. HIGHLEY recommended this place.

Dogwood Knoll

Overall, a very good experience. Found just a bit of dirt in my bathroom floor, but clean otherwise. It is a beautiful home and setting in the woods. If we were to ever go back to Berkeley Springs, we would stay there again.

Family Thanksgiving

This property is perfect for large family stays. The house was clean, with a very well stocked kitchen and lots of firewood. The decks are enormous and fantastic on warm days and allow the group to spread out. The bedrooms were large and the beds were comfortable. Each bedroom as a private sitting area. The location is private and offers abundant outdoor activities. The management company was proactive and very responsive. We strongly recommend this property and hope to return.

Nice view but dirty/broken home

DIRT everywhere, dead roaches, mouse droppings, rusty mirrors, cracked sinks, broken window cranks, frig set to 'coldest' which froze all of our vegetables - to name a few.

House smelled and had many issues.

We walked in and the musty smell was so bad it gave us headaches and sinus problems. We opened windows all weekend and it was still bad. One kitchen chair appeared broken and appeared it would collapse if sat on, shower heads were bad, dead bugs by shower, mold or dirt on ceilings. One toilet had old urine, there were no mats for getting out of tub or showers, none in slippery tubs, not enough towels. Night light on first floor king bathroom was melting plastc fan cover and was a fire hazard. Overall very dated and worn. We have stayed in Berkeley Springs and Alpine Lakes for 10 years and this was our first time with problems.

Friends reunion

A group of nine long time friends 70-80+, met for a 3 night reunion. We brought all our own food and had a wonderful time. The beds are comfortable, the setting beautiful . The hikers in our group enjoyed the trails and woods. A great time was had by all!

Great stay!

Had a great time in Berkeley Springs! This was a nice stay. It was nice having suck large decks and screened in porch. Also having a bathroom for each room is a very nice feature. Though the place wasn't as clean as I would have liked and the basement rooms could use better curtains, it was a great stay and would definitely go back.

Great vacation getaway

The house was perfect for our family, we had 6 adults and 4 children. There was plenty of room. The house was well stocked for cooking. We enjoyed the outdoor space with the multi decks and screened in porch. The trails were close and fun. It was very relaxing and quiet. We would definetly come here again.

Loved the neighborhood and the house

We had a wonderful time at this property this weekend. The house is older but We knew that by looking at the pictures ahead of time. This is exactly what we were looking for, for a weekend getaway in the mountains. There was 11 of us (mix of adults & kids - age 5 and up) and the 5 bedrooms/5 bath was perfect. The sun rooms and screened in porch were so relaxing. The neighborhood is really neat and is perfect for walks. We used the neighborhood volleyball court multiple times and visited the State Park for a hike which is a short drive from the home. We look forward to visiting again next year if the house is available!!

Nice but the pictures make it look nicer.

We all thought the pictures on the internet looked much nicer than when we arrived. The place is old and really needs updates. Not much hot water for showers, rust on refrigerator, dish washer worked but needs to be fixed. Place big enough for us all, but needs updates

Wonderful weekend at Dogwood Knoll

Great place to have a reunion with girlfriends. We enjoyed the house, especially having five bathroom for six ladies! The setting is beautiful. And we enjoyed the Berkeley Springs town and area.
