If you’re looking for a true mountain hideaway, this is it: beautiful wooded setting, mountain views, peace and quiet, but just a short drive to downtown Breck. There’s easy access to trails and fishing, too! This cozy home in the woods will give you and your group a true Colorado experience. You’ll love it!

This cozy 2-bedroom + loft, 2-bathroom home is a perfect for groups or families of up to 6 people. Set in the woods overlooking Pennsylvania Creek, it’s just a 10-minute drive from Breckenridge and the slopes; it’s a great spot for people looking to escape the hustle and bustle of downtown Breck but be “close to the action.”

The living area has large windows for lots of natural light and taking in the scenery, and the gas fireplaces add to the ambiance of the home’s mountain setting. The large deck is located just off the living area and has a gas grill for barbecuing. The remodeled kitchen has granite counters and stainless-steel appliances, as well as all the gear you’ll need to keep the gang happy and fed. The dining table has room for six and for breakfast and snacks, there’s room for three at the counter.

Other amenities include and washer and dryer, parking for two vehicles, and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the home. Plus, every Summit Mountain Rentals property comes stocked with plenty of linens, towels and hotel-like toiletries, and is professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. Our helpful staff is also available 24 hours a day to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay with us an unforgettable experience. Fishermen's Place is pet friendly and allows dogs.

Beautiful view of the mountain and marsh from the home. Even saw a moose from the kitchen window. However the outside area needs some work, such as cleaning and lawn care. Easy drive into town.Comfortable on the inside for a family of 4 and two dogs.

The place was spotless and modern appliances plus plenty of kitchen amenities to make the stay more comfortable. We loved the gas fireplace that actually put out heat along with looking good. The beds were very soft for our preference and I had wished for a little more privacy for the two bedrooms as one had a door and the other a curtain.

Nice property close to downtown

This was a nice home just a few minutes south of Downtown Breck off Route 9. Quiet neighborhood and spacious tri level home. Management company was communicative throughout our stay.

Beautiful Views Close to Breckenridge

The property was comfortable and clean! We especially loved sitting on the porch and enjoying views of the mountains! We were less than 10 minutes from Breckenridge and close to tons of mountain biking and hiking trails. We had a wonderful stay! The property is managed by Summit Mountain Rentals and they will reach out to you to sign a rental agreement and ask for a card for a security deposit after you book.

Great location, Great Cabin, Great Value

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at The Fisherman's Place. The location is convenient to Breckenridge but far enough removed to be a peaceful retreat. The cabin was nicely furnished, comfortable and clean. The back deck was an especially nice spot to enjoy a meal or just take in the mountain air. Downstairs bedrooms & bathrooms were simple, comfortable and functional. We spent most of our time upstairs enjoying the breezes & views. A perfect spot for our small family to enjoy a mountain getaway!

What a spot; what a view!

Terrific living room, deck and kitchen/dining area. The view off the deck is gorgeous, and makes you feel like you’re outside even if you’re not. Wow! Bedrooms adequate, but more than made up for by the marvelous upstairs. Great lighting too!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was clean and comfortable and in a beautiful location with nice views. The main floor(1 floor up) has been nicely remodeled and is functional and pretty.The two bathrooms and sleeping quarters are clean and comfortable but it is a strange floor plan with no toilet on the main living floor. The deck is very nice. The grill never gets hotter than 375degrees F in the summer. It probably is even less warm in winter.Over all it was an enjoyable vacation.

The home is walking distance to 2 very pleasant walking trails. I was pleasantly surprised on how many kitchen amenities were available, including a blender, crock pot and gas grill. There is also a fire pit on the back upper patio which was lovely. We saw an Elk and Moose near the home. Great and fast communication with the rental management company. Beds and pillows were comfy. Highly recommend! We will back again!

Enjoyed our stay, this place is very close to Breckenridge, easy access to the slopes, driveway big enough for at least two cars. Nice Neighbors. Dog friendly. It had everything we needed. The only thing I’d add would be a coffee pot. There is a Keurig though.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fishermen's Place is the perfect location if you want to be near Breckenridge, while hiking places south. Don't expect to see the river though, as it has grown over since the picture was taken. Great kitchen with everything you need, but bring your coffee pods. The folks at Summit Mountain Rentals, who manage this property, were great. I had a couple of small issues, but one phone call was all it took to get these resolved. One note; stick the heavy sleepers in the back bedroom as when the heat kicks on it will be loud. The deck was great and made any flaws in the house easy to overlook. Overall, we were happy and would diffidently stay here again.

Beautiful Views

Its hard for me to review this house. Some really really great things about this place and then not so good. It feels like someone really cares about this place and the upstairs with the view is amazing!! Unfortunately it all falls apart as soon as you go downstairs. Honestly it looks like someone spent a ton of money upstairs getting it just right, and then ran out of money before they started downstairs. The area is good. The managers were very easy to work with and check-in and checkout seamless. The deck and views are absolutely fantastic!!! (almost worth renting just for that) The upstairs of the house is beautiful, the kitchen and living room are WONDERFUL nothing lacking there. The bad. The entire downstairs was dirty, I literally cleaned the walls of the bedroom myself when we got there, there was a LOT of very disgusting bodily fluids on the wall that had to be scraped off, hair in the sink, dirt, paint and old drywall mud on the carpets. Entire downstairs was like a low rent apartment, bathroom had different shades of paint, unpainted doors, some holes in the sheetrock, patches of sheetrock unpainted, doors that stuck, tiny bathrooms, low ceilings and weird bedrooms. The second bedroom had no doors. Overall if they would remodel the downstairs and clean better we would absolutely stay again.

The management company was top notch - even guiding me to find the humidifier right in front of me. The front room has the killer view I love. The bedrooms are a little spartan, but that doesn't bother us and it's well documented in the pictures. We're there for the outdoors, and what a great deck!

The Fishermen's Place was the perfect rental for myself, husband and our 2 dogs. It was just minutes from downtown Breckenridge but still allowed us to feel like we could relax in the mountains. Multiple hiking locations were very easy to get to from our rental location but also just sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening were perfection. The rental was very clean and tidy but also had a great homey feeling to it- felt like we could come back from a long hike and just relax.
