Beautiful 2 Bd Poolside Homes - Near Pickleball and Beach

This review was difficult for us at first, until we realized whom it was coming from. So that you can make a more informed decision, we feel obligated to share what these guests were like, so that you can put in perspective some of the egregious statements. They were ugly to us, our other guests, and our business friends in town. They came here after a self-described 10 day party in a 5 star resort in Cabo. We are not Cabo, do not want to be like Cabo, and are very proud of that fact. Their first complaint is that they were renting our personal home. Um..VRBO stands for Vacation Rental By Owner so one should surmise that if you are renting property through this site, you will be renting from an owner that occupies it at some point. Also, when you rent any property advertised as pet-friendly and you are severely allergic to pets, you should contact the owners in advance and alert them! The water issue in the guest bath was quite funny for us. That bath actually runs hot water quicker by 1 minute 27 seconds than the master shower, and no, it does not take 20 minutes to get hot water. We did time the hot water, and can only conclude they were turning the wrong knob. The pool is scheduled to be redone as a general maintenance procedure. We can't do that during busy season as our guests would have no pool to swim in. Our products are on-site and will be redone when it least impacts our guests. No one has complained about this nor has it impacted their vacations. We did have one pool lounge break. Things do break and we replaced it. This review's quad statement is just ridiculous. If you read our reviews, almost all say to rent quads and we can put you in contact with all the companies. Ours are here for your convenience so you can turn them in and out at your pleasure, and we are 20% cheaper than our friends in town. ALL quads have issues in this environment and are easily and quickly replaced because ours are on-site. The scenery behind the pool and houses is a clearly seen in our photos, and is quite updated. Always an amenity to the property! Each home also has an upstairs entertaining patio with a mountain and Sea of Cortez view. I'm not sure how this guest missed the scenery...but they did. Please read the reviews that have come from the SAME time that this disgruntled Cabo person was here. There was no problem with the pool, quads or views; quite the contrary. We love our guests and look forward to the next group to entertain!

These type of reviews are personally painful for us. We realize that in today's day and age that reviews are important; we also realize the abuse inherent in the system. The exaggerations and falsehoods sometimes are impressive to see. In this particular review, we inspected every aspect of their claims. We found that approximately half were overly exaggerated and the other half did not exist. We do not know why people exaggerate but we are proud of our property. We have lived in the exact house they lived in with the exact furnishings, cabinetry and construction, and we are happy to host dinner parties with friends, colleagues, and guests here. If you will please take the time to look at all the sites we advertise on, you will see we have received 2 bad reviews to over 70 good reviews. Are 70 reviews constituting 400 people correct or are 2 bad reviews correct? When these guests checked in, there was an issue with a broken toilet seat. It was not available to purchase in our town. We informed them we would make the 5 hour trip to Cabo to purchase the seat the following day, they said it was not a problem, and it was installed at 5p. We inspected the cabinet drawers and they were not dirty. There is no hole in the ceiling, just a 6-inch place where the paint came off. We have the touch-up paint, but thought it would be too intrusive to fix while guests were there. The sofa and living room furniture are well above standard, professionally cleaned every year and vacuumed weekly. The pool patio furniture is literally brand new at the time of this review. Please keep in mind, while we live on one of the top ten beaches in the world, there may be small issues. But, we live close by with a team of gardeners, house-keeper, electricians, and plumbers so we can handle them as quick as humanly possible. We check on our guests multiple times a week, if not more, to make sure everything is running smoothly. Regularly, we talk with guests to recommend everything we can do to help them have fun, just like we do. These guests only discussed a toilet seat, then chose to make a very nasty and false review, even though we were on-site and talked to them frequently. We built the property and take pride in the beautiful homes and patios we provide for people to have their vacations. We love this place and will continue to help all of our guests with their travel here. On to working hard for the 99% of happy guests!
