Our stay at Egdewater

The unit & amenities were amazing & we really enjoyed our stay. The only thing i would say i didn’t care for was the parking. It’s not that there weren’t spots open, it’s that it’s like playing snake trying to get through it. Just seems oddly tight for a place with such capacity. All in all we had a great time & will book again in the future.

Over ok but musty smell

The room has a bad musty moldy smell, which I reported . By our third day the floor was damp, our clothes were damp and the whole room had no airflow. I took pics and also sent. Hope they got it fixed because it could possibly make the tenants sick if stay too long.

The ice maker was found in the off position and restored to working order. Stained bathroom ceiling tiles were replaced, and service has been scheduled for the sliding glass door. We strive to maintain a clean, well-equipped space for every guest and regret that these issues affected your stay. Compensation was offered and accepted; we truly appreciate your understanding. We provide a starter supply of essentials for the first 24 hours and recommend bringing or purchasing any additional items needed for the duration of your stay. Dated & dirty

The property is old and dated. The unit had sand all over the floors when we arrived. The sleeper sofa had springs loose and was very uncomfortable. The bathtub was disgusting and the shower was difficult to get to work properly because the handles were broken. The sliding doors did not slide properly and were difficult to open/close and did not lock. The balcony furniture was rusted and about to fall apart. We will not stay at this resort in the future.

A DUMP - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Not only was this condo so out of date it was also completely disgusting. There was sand everywhere. The lights weren’t working because they were missing the light bulbs. There was condensation dripping out of every vent. We weren’t able to open the door to the balcony because it was so hard to even move. Nor did the balcony door lock. We didn’t use any of the appliances because they were all covered with all different types of splatter. The couch was ripped with the stuffing coming out. The bathroom as a whole horrible. So many things to even point out. We made this reservation at the last minute and I didn’t realize that even though I booked via VRBO the condo is actually managed by a company and not a single owner. Obviously this company is there to take people’s money and actually has no idea what this property looks like. There are so many other places out there, that cost the same, and are MUCH more worth booking. We travel a lot and we’ve never experienced such hideous property.
