Nice Resort

We had a really nice time at this resort. Plenty of pools and beach access. Restaurants all around and can walk to the grocery store and other eateries.

Black mold in shower in 2 locations, carpets need cleaned, lanai was filthy, living room screen broke and in corner. Property is wonderful but this one needs a little tlc

I ask for extra hand towels and face towels like 4 times never got them very bad service I rent a ocean view room my view was a parking garage I would never stay here again NOT worth it it all

Needs some upkeep

We stayed at this condo and had a few issues the couch in the living room had half of the springs that hold the mattress missing. Lots of problems with fridge and freezer door randomly opening on its own had to put stools in front of it to make sure doors don't open. Slow draining tub and lanai drain. The resort it self was beautiful but would stay in a different condo next time. This is our second trip to this resort and previous condo didn't have these problems.

The entire experience was fantastic

Room was exactly as pictured except water view was better than represented. The entire experience was fantastic for our family with three teenagers. The Nano-doors and large lanai were our favourite feature!

We had over 20 family members staying in 6 different KBM properties between the two buildings and everyone seemed to love their stay at the Honua Kai! KBM Resorts gave us amazing service

KBM gave us amazing service from the initial booking email to the final day. They handled our car rental, offered us an extra something of our choice to offset the closing of two of the pools on the property which they had no control over. We had a leaky sink on day 1 which was fixed immediately and there was a power outage on the island which they kept us apprised of as it went on. I highly recommend using them if you are visiting Maui.

This was my first time in Maui and my first time staying in a condo versus a hotel so I was a little nervous. We stayed a week and absolutely loved it! We were able to check in early and the room was spacious and gorgeous. Th full kitchen had everything we could possibly need and we enjoyed eating breakfast on the huge lanai every morning. My family had such a great experience we look forward to boookimg this unit again.

Our unit was in the back with a huge patio for the kids to play on and overlooked landscaping and the public park but could still see a peak of the sunset. We never heard any neighbors. The unit was well furnished. Toys for the kids of all ages was wonderful to have available.

Beautiful resort

Check in was simple and quick. We stayed in this resort four years ago and noticed our unit this time was a little worn. Carpet was stained in many places, curtains were stained, and couch was pretty saggy. Oven did not heat well and there was no garbage disposal. We did not have adequate washcloths and towels for five guests. There was a problem with our toilet but maintenance was there within a couple of hours and fixed the problem in a timely manner. Noticed a garbage smell when arriving and off and on throughout the trip. Probably the garbage chute that was across the hall. The grounds were beautiful, the pool areas and beach were nice. We loved the area and there were plenty of activities We had a good trip just think the unit needs spruced up a bit for the price.

Beautuiful spot

Place was nice and clean and had most of what we needed. The beach chairs and boogie boards were great to have as well. Thank you! A few items that would have been good to have are cushions for the chairs outside, some basic kitchen items such as salt and pepper, more drinking glasses (we had to do dishes several times), and some more towels. Also, it would be nice to have a bluetooth stereo to connect your phone to and play music. This is pretty standard these days. Such a lovely spot and the complex and grounds are lovely. Also, we did have one wrist band that we could not find on the way out (had it the whole time until that morning). Thanks, Mike

Wonderful property, just as pictured!!

Wonderful stay- beds are super comfy, very large deck, very clean, responsive staff. Super close walk to the beach and the pools are amazing. Both rooms are great. The only downside was the deck is very windy- but that may have been the time of year we were there (feb).

Pretty hefty price tag for the 2 bed condo alone, but the resort was nice and the rental car was also nice even though I had issues with Alamo- specifically the manager at the airport location.
