This beautiful and spacious Mediterranean-style private studio (550 sq. ft.) is located within my primary residence in the lovely Monterey Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. I live on-site and occupy the residence during guest stays. Guests enjoy a private, comfortable space with their own entrance, while I am nearby if assistance is needed. This peaceful retreat offers convenient access to all that San Francisco has to offer.

This place was listed as a studio, but it was much bigger than a studio. There was a substantially-sized entry way and the kitchen, the bathroom and the bedroom/living room combo all had individual doors off the entry way.It was in a neighborhood that we had fun walking around in -- even though there was a heavy fog and it was night-time. There was plenty of parking on the street. It was in a quiet area.The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was very nicely appointed. It had a huge refrigerator/freezer that was great for us because we have to cook our meals.We would definitely go back.

Beautiful spotless property! The host has everything detailed in a binder on how to operate everything in the apt, right down to a list of the closest restaurants, grocery stores and pharmacies. We didnt use the laundry but there is a washer and dryer stack in the kitchen. The kitchen by the way is beautiful. Our host Alice has thought of everything you'd ever need. We will definitely stay there again when we need to return to S.F. The neighborhood is very high class, beautiful and quiet! Parking is easily accessible at no cost. A wonderful property!!

Wonderful studio. Clean, easy parking, quiet neighborhood. Tons of amenities like washer/dryer, laundry detergent, shampoo and conditioner, plenty of hot water and great water pressure. A fully stocked kitchen, dishwasher and large fridge/freezer. Great location near West Portal ( cafes, restaurants, etc). Alice is an attentive hostess. I strongly recommend this place.

Our hostess was very informative and receptive before and during our stay if needed. For two adults who were not planning on spending much time in the residence, this was perfect. It’s in a convenient location with quick access to airport but in a very charming and safe area. Nothing super fancy yet clean with kitchen, bathroom and bedroom/living area. We plan on booking again on our next visit!

Great location in a lovely neighborhood. Street parking was fabulous. Proximity to public transportation was great to be able to get into central SF. Took a little bit to sort out heating, but worked well once i figured it out.

The space was lovely and clean, with character- red floor tiles- comfy bed, and well equipped kitchen. The owners are very responsive. It’s a bit farther out from the neighborhoods we spent time in (golden gate park, marina, downtown, haight)But we had a rental car and it was easy to park (yay) and to drive wherever we wanted.

Everything that I needed

I loved staying here. It was so cozy and secluded. I absolutely loved the shower. I travel a lot and having a shower with a beautiful strong hot current of water is a dream for a weary traveler. The check-in was very easy and welcoming. I’ll definitely will stay here again.

Great location

We stayed 4 nights and the place included everything we needed. Great location, fridge, cooking space and tools to cook with, fireplace to keep us cozy when it got cold, and a nice second bed. Alice was very responsive and open to questions.
