Fantastic 4-bedroom lake house just off of Moccasin Cove at Lake Sara.

Paradise on Bluebird is located on Bluebird Drive just off of Moccasin Road at beautiful Lake Sara. Our home is located within 5 minutes of 2 golf course, Pinky's restaurant and bar as well as the beach, play area and marina. ONLY 1 DOG UNDER 30lbs ALLOWED

Parking is located in front of the house and there is ample room for our guests. The lake access is on the northern finger off of Moccasin cove.
No burning after 10pm. Only the number booked will be allowed. No organized parties due to local zoning restrictions and out of respect for our great neighbors. No flushing anything down drains but TP.
ONE animal under 30lbs.
No aggressive breeds.

We loved the House and the extra set provided. Great location. Would’ve been nice to see the lake from the patio all we were out enjoying it. A little trimming down by the docks would’ve been nice. In great communication with the owner was greatly appreciated.‼

Amazing VRBO property for our girls’ trip with two of my lifelong best friends!! It had everything we needed, wanted and more. It was so comfortable and we were so impressed with whomever did the decorating for this home. Positive sayings everywhere you look. Condiments in the fridge. Coffee for the Keurig too. Games. Incredible outdoor area. We had such a great time and are talking about coming back again next year!!

Great stay!

Enjoyed a girls weekend at the house- great setup with enough beds, and beautiful lake scenery. Living room is lovely for relaxing. We could have used a bit more in the kitchen (large utensils, baking sheet, pans)… but minor detail that didn’t change a great stay! Recommend!

Beautiful place. Serene backyard. Wonderful experience all around! The lake itself had some odd rules so I’d suggest researching that if you plan on boating or swimming.

Perfect House for a group

A group of us who volunteer for Poss Music Works rented this home while working the Summer Sundown Music Festival. Normally we do a hotel in town. It was so great to have a comfortable place to go with great bathrooms and comfortable beds. Having a kitchen to cook in was the best part. We will definitely be back.

Tom and Salisa Olmsted are investors domiciled in Gays Illinois. They have short term rental properties on Lake Sara, Lake Paradise, Shelbyville and Decatur Illinois in the historic district. In addition to these properties the Olmsted's have about 30 single family homes in the area.

We consider ourselves fortunate to have found this property to buy on this great lake as they are scarce. Moccasin Cove in my opinion is the best one on the lake.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Lake Sara is a great little lake near Effingham, Illinois with a lot of things to do. It has 2 marinas. You can visit by water Pinky's to eat and drink and even rent or launch a boat at the marina there. It has a great beach area with lots of activities for the kids and the adults. The fishing is good here on the west end of the lake. There are also 2 golf courses on the lake if that is your thing. You'll be amazed at the beautiful homes that line this lake. Great 4th of July fireworks. Fun times.
