Dover Bay Barefoot Bungalow | 2 Bed, 2 Bath

After a day in the sun (or snow) retreat into casual relaxation mode, made easy when staying in this aptly-named Barefoot Bungalow.  Centrally located in the heart of the Dover Bay community, everything you need is a short stroll from the front door - the full-service marina, convenience store, Dover Bay Beach and the *delicious* Dish in Dover Bay restaurant and bar where you can dine al fresco overlooking the iconic Pend Oreille River.  Explore the 9 miles of walking trails and the 9 acres of park areas within the development. Bring your camera!

This fully appointed 2 bedroom, 2 bath home features thoughtful furnishings, central air conditioning, gas fireplace, vaulted ceiling and comfortable sleeping for 4.  The primary bedroom has a Queen bed and en suite full bathroom, and the second bedroom also has a Queen bed and direct access to the home's 2nd full bathroom.  Barefoot Bungalow is a single-level home, so both bedrooms are conveniently located on the main floor.  Outside, enjoy the covered porch with a gas BBQ and seating for everyone.  This property is ideal for a small family or couples wanting to stay together and make meals together while spending time exploring North Idaho.

The Dover Bay Resort offers a wide range of amenities including a full-service marina with fuel station, convenience store, and miles of walking and biking trails.  Balto Dog Park offers a beach and swimming area, along with a small playground and restrooms.

Note:  Lake Club Fitness is privately owned and is unfortunately not open to vacation rental guests at this home.

Wonderful Bungalow in Dover Bay

Great unit across from the Dover Bay Marina. Just a beautiful area. Had issues with live streaming TV, but could not be happier with our choice of this rental.

Perfect winter trip

This place was great for our family of 4
we enjoyed escaping to go ski at Schweitzer and explore Sandpoint and have a cozy little place to relax.

Nice location

The cabin was absolutely perfect for our girls weekend getaway. Everything was very well kept and clean. We enjoyed the porch seating as well. The area was quiet. Communication was great. We would book again.

A great stay in a relaxing location with all amenities close by. Many opportunities for hike, bike or lake fun. Golf in the are was good too!

GREAT PLACE!!!!

Fantastic place! We have friends that live in the community full time and so fun to be able to walk to their place and have our own space to come back to! Had everything we could've wanted in the house and the location is spectacular! Dover Bay is a must return!

Dover Delight

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bungalow. We met wonderful people, went for pleasant walks and enjoyed the food at the Dish Restaurant. It’s so close to Sandpoint that we enjoyed days at the city beach and exploring downtown. We had a delightful time. Thank you!

Love Dover Bay ! Just know you have to walk a little ways to the water . We needed lawn chairs so went and bought some in town . Lovely place !

Family Time in Dover Bay

Our son & family live in the area. It was a wonderful place to stay while we visited our family. The two teen grandkids took turns staying overnight with us. There were games (in a basket under a bench) like Yatzhee and Farkel for us to play each evening. The kitchen had most of the necessary items to prepare our meals. The place was clean and very comfortable! We will be back!
