Beautiful Cabarete House with Pool/3 min walk to beach in Cabarete at Millenium

A location that just can’t be beat is the best way to describe our house. A newly built villa that's located just 30 min from Puerto Plata International Airport within the gated property of Millenium Resort and Spa. Transport to the Villa can be arranged for your arrival and departure. Once there, it is a short 3 min walk(280 steps to be exact) to the beach where the water sports for which Cabarete is known are taking place. Walk another 1/2 km down the beach and you are in the heart of the small town Cabarete where there are plenty of restaurants, shops and bars to entertain you day and night. You can skip the rental car because almost everything you need is within walking distance to the Villa. Vagamundo Coffee and Waffles for breakfast, Mambo fish tacos for lunch at Gorditos and Yalla for late afternoon tapas and cocktails at the Millenium pool. All of this and more is located with in a very tight radius of the villa. Feeling a little adventurous? Walk a little farther into town to El Callejón for a great selection of local fare. Don’t feel like eating out? La Rosa Supermercado is located across the main road from the Villa. It’s a small, but very effective, locally owned grocery store with all the basics necessities you could ask for. They also carry a decent selection of liquor, beer and wine.

The Villa’s location is ideal for wind sports as the primary launch for Playa Cabarete is the same beach access mentioned above from the villa. LEK school offers kite lessons and rental gear onsite if you are new to the sport or didn’t bring gear.

Got kids? Tag team watching the kids from the Millenium Pool while taking turns out on the water.

Here for the surf? Playa Encuentro, the premier surf spot in the DR, is a 10 min taxi ride away. Surf in the morning, kite in the afternoon.

Additionally, you’ll have full access to the Millenium Resort with a beach side infinity pool, Andari Spa, a small indoor gym, and Yalla Tapas and cocktails.

Look no further for an amazing villa in an ideal location. Once you’re here, you won’t want to leave.

The property was top notch. Everything was exactly as noted on the description. It was very relaxing and we felt at home. The kitchen was fully stocked - we really enjoyed it tremendously. Everything was so clean and Mario was so helpful. We were so grateful for his hospitality!

Amazing house and staff

Everything in the house was perfect and matched the photos. My kids loved using the pool and restaurant at the Millennium Hotel, and my wife used the spa and gym there as well. Mario was our point person for everything we needed in the house and he was always quick to reply and help with our needs like getting a new 5 gallon jug of drinking water. We met the owner Matt whole there who was a really nice guy as well. Highly recommend this house and can see us returning in the future

Great Cabarete Villa

The property was great. Clean, spacious - had everything we needed for our stay. The access to the Millenium Resort pool, beach, and restaurant/bar was also great. Very friendly staff and Mario, our management liaison was very responsive to our needs. Overall, a very nice and relaxing experience for our group.

Everything was amazing. Really!

So this place was perfect for our group- my husband and I and our kids: 11, 15, 17 and 17. The house is beautiful and clean and comfortable. Lots of space, well-appointed kitchen, great beds.we loved the outdoor seating and the pool was used every night. The owners were available and very responsive. Mario, their concierge, was helpful and utterly lovely. Same for Nino, their driver. We loved the access to the beautiful Millennium- the pool, gym and bar/restaurant were well-kept and we loved them. Our whole group kited w/ Laurel Eastman, located in front of the Millennium pool. The instructors were patient and fun. Full disclosure: we travel a lot, own a rental, and I never ever ever consider staying places without reviews. We took a gamble on this, and it was a great gamble. You will not be disappointed.

We tend to avoid large cities because we like the comfort that small towns offer that give us a more of a local feel when we visit. I enjoy skiing, kiteboarding, dirt biking, mountain biking and camping.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

I have been visiting Cabarete for since 2001 and it has been my dream to own a property where I could visit on a regular basis. Well, I finally pulled the trigger in 2022 and made it happen. The Villa is centrally located to Cabarete in the area that I have always stayed at. I have found that this location is ideal for getting around, families and generally all aspects of a vacation. I rarely, if ever, rent a car because everything is with in walking distance (except for the airport where there are a plethora of taxis) and that makes for a very easy vacation. The accessibility for kiting is the main reason I like this location so much. While it is not directly on the beach, you are only a short walk away to check the wind.

The location is what makes our house so ideal. You are steps away from the beach and town so access to everything is right at your footsteps. We have decorated the place as if it was our own home as we do plan to spend months at a time here eventually.
