Tucked between the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Nantahala National Forest, The Hydeaway offers privacy, nature, and easy access to the Fontana Recreation Area. You’ll feel tucked away—yet perfectly located for adventure or rest.

Inside the Cabin

This rustic retreat comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests and blends cozy charm with modern comforts. Inside, you’ll find:
• Vaulted ceilings with seasonal mountain views
• Fireplace, central heat & A/C
• Smart TVs (log into Netflix, Hulu, etc.)
• Washer & dryer

Sleeping & Bathrooms
• Main floor private bedroom: 1 queen bed
• Upstairs open loft: 2 queen beds
• Hybrid memory foam mattresses throughout
• Two full bathrooms (one on each floor)

Fully Equipped Kitchen

Just bring your food and seasonings—everything else is ready:
• Cookware, dishes, and utensils
• Coffee pot with filters
• Coffee and assorted teas provided

Outdoor Living

Spend your time outside as much as inside:
• Private hot tub on the back deck
• Fire pit for s’mores and stargazing
• Rocking chairs and outdoor seating

There is no cell service in the area—making this a true escape. Wi-Fi is available. We recommend arriving with groceries, as the nearest essentials are about 20 minutes away.
