Sitting in the Rock River Valley, Oregon, Illinois is a charming town with much to offer visitors. Three state parks full of hiking trails are nearby. Rent canoes or kayaks to float down the scenic Rock River.
Walking distance from our home is Park West with a trail, tennis courts, play area, splash pad and a sledding hill. Downtown Oregon's restaurants, bars and stores are a short drive or a pleasant walk.
For business travelers, the Byron plant, Woods, Etnyre and KSB Hospital are short drives.
The space
This downstairs unit of a two story duplex house has 2 bedrooms, bathroom, full kitchen, and living room area. This listing is for renting the downstairs only (we do not rent the upstairs if there are guests in the downstairs unit). The back yard has a small deck and is completely fenced - you will not share the backyard with anybody else. Well-behaved furry friends are welcome. The house sits on a quiet street with easy parking.
Guest access
There is free parking on the gravel driveway next to the house and also free street side parking as long as cars are parked in the direction of traffic. Oregon has no public transportation options so walking, biking, and driving are the options for getting around.
