Lorsque vous songez Ă  rester dans une cabine, Bobcat Retreat est probablement la cabine dont vous rĂȘvez. Cette cabane A Frame de 1 200 pieds carrĂ©s est parfaitement situĂ©e prĂšs de Deer Mountain et offre un accĂšs incroyable aux sentiers de VTT / motoneige locaux et au sentier de Mickelson local !! Il dispose d'une cheminĂ©e Ă  bois, d'une terrasse privĂ©e avec bain Ă  remous et d'une maison avec lits superposĂ©s pour quelques couchages supplĂ©mentaires. Vous n'ĂȘtes qu'Ă  5 minutes des parois du canyon de rim-rock et des cascades de Spearfish Canyon, ou Ă  15 minutes de Deadwood avec un service de taxi! Vous pouvez Ă©galement profiter du mont Rushmore, du parc national de Custer, de Keystone et de nombreuses autres attractions Ă  environ une heure de route!

La disposition ouverte de la cabine A est parfaite pour passer du temps avec vos camarades. La cabine peut accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes au total - lit queen situé dans le loft, un lit queen dans la chambre à l'étage principal et un futon dans la cabine également. La maison avec lits superposés dispose de 2 ensembles de lits superposés, chacun d'entre eux étant des lits jumeaux. Que vous soyez dans la région pour profiter des aventures sur les sentiers locaux ou tout simplement pour vous reposer et vous détendre, Bobcat Retreat répondra à vos besoins de vacances. Hot tub was amazing. Very cozy cabin. Deer came into yard which was neat . No Wi-Fi which we made work. Nice couch and chair but neither reclined, which would have been good when relaxing in front of TV. Overall very nice stay.

The property was clean, well stocked with towels and other supplies such as towels, tp, paper towels, etc. Nice deck off the back to enjoy morning coffee or a nightcap. The hot tub was newer, well maintained and so welcome to soak in after a day of riding. Momma deer and her two babies would walk through the back yard. Very easy check-in & checkout. Just wish there would have been WiFi as cell service is spotty.

Stay was awesome . Hot water goes quickly but we managed . Some notice about no WiFi and service would be nice. I work remotely so was planning on doing work ? But couldn’t . Otherwise everything was great and would stay here again for sure

Quintessential Cabin

This is a perfect little rustic A-frame. Open layout is perfect for a small family to be able to do their own thing while being close together. Proximity to Terry Peak, hot tub, scenery, wood-burning stove, and quiet neighborhood are also major selling points. We LOVE Bobcat Retreat!

3rd year in a row staying here . Only disappointment this year was very little firewood staged to bring n and all the lighters were out of fluid and hardly any paper to help start. Manager brought us what we needed quickly. Hot tub was a bit dirty which was a first in all out stays. Overall still a peaceful place and we enjoyed as always

Cozy Birthday Get Away

Everything was just as expected. Cozy quiet private cabin just a short drive from Lead and Deadwood. Fireplace worked great! Hot tub was toasty. Cabin had everything we needed to cook breakfast.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I have stayed in this rental before. It is a small rental with a small bedroom and a bed in the loft. We had another couple join us last minute so we stayed in the loft and gave them the bedroom downstairs. Loft is not terrible. I am 6'2" and managed fine. Queen bed worked for the time there. Steps are plenty steep but just take your time using them and you will be fine. Rental was clean and everything worked as it should. It suited our needs for the 3 nights we were there.

Loved the area!

Pretty darn accurate listing. Very peaceful & quiet. The danger of the narrow stairs to the upper level prevented us from sleeping in the most comfy bed 🙁 
 Did not need a trip to the ER! Spiral staircase would be an amazing solution! Many thanks to the guest book tips that prevented stubbed toes @fireplace 😉 We loved our Lead stay; Mickelson Trail was breathtaking! So much to see in such little time! We’ll be back for Devil’s Tower & Crazy Horse. Host was not very host-like when we asked for clarity after he emailed a ‘construction update for possible alternate cabin access’. We appreciated the update, but he communicated like we were locals. It didn’t help that it was dark & raining but we landed w/success regardless👍Overall, quite pleased w/our stay. đŸ’«

Family Vacation

Lovely cabin for our family of 5. The view sitting in the hot tub or on the deck was relaxing. Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals at home. Everything was in decent driving distance. Spearfish canyon was just a hop away. Overall, very pleased with the place.

I let the caretaker know we were leaving and she said she would notify Buddy, I was a little disappointed that I didn’t receive a follow up email.

Nice But Probably Would Not Rent Again

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was nice, had most of our meals there. Started off in the downstairs bedroom but it was too cramped and we moved upstairs after a couple nights. It was way more comfortable upstairs, you just have to be careful on the stairs as they are pretty steep. The two drawbacks were 1. No Wifi. It would have been nice to have that to be able to help find hiking trails and whether or not things were open, it being the off season. 2. I think the hot tub was over chlorinated. Both my wife and I got rashes. Mine went away 2 days after refraining from the hot tub, my wife's took almost a week. It got foamy when you started the jets which I've never encountered before. The hot tub was a main reason we rented the place and then we couldn't use it. Maybe it was something we ate but I kind of doubt it. The cabin was in a good location and it was quiet at night.

Quick get away

It is a fairly nice cabin. Won’t advice take young children to this cabin. Upper level has very steep and scary stairs. Only has a shower and hot water last about 2 minutes. Other than that it is a good cabin for people like us who likes to go see things and who doesn’t plan on staying in the cabin all day.
