The Heceta Hideout is a retreat to the Oregon coast, steps away from Heceta beach. The entire home is yours with spacious parking and can host 8 comfortably. The Hideout is the perfect refuge for couples, groups, and families. Grab some coffee and relish in the sound of the ocean from our front deck on a sunny day or maybe take up a good book during a rainy day. We would love to be a guiding point to help make your trip all about living the good life in Florence.

Please note: Note: Surveillance camera is located outside the front door viewing the porch. The booking could be canceled if the house rules are broken.

The size of the house was perfect for our trip where we all had our own rooms and bathrooms! The key pad made for easy entry and also convenient that you could get to the downstairs through the garage. The large jacuzzi tub was a great way to relax after a day of walking around downtown Florence. I loved the seashells through out the house and my granddaughter loved the toys and books. The neighborhood was quiet and the short walk to the beach was pretty, even when it was windy! Kelly communicated well with us while we were there and even after. She wants to make your stay great! Thank you for sharing your house with us!

Beach Getaway

We visited from Utah and had driven out to Florence. The house was perfect for our family. Just a few minutes from the beach and only 10 minutes from Old Town Florence it was the ideal location. Plenty of family friendly games available in the house, which we enjoyed playing. We even woke up to deer in the yard. Very idyllic for my nephew's first time at the coast!

Great Get Away

The property was incredibly clean and the owner was very gracious in supplying necessities. We packed most of what we needed but she was nice enough to supply towels. When ever we had questions she was quick to respond. The only thing we have of note is that the instructions are a bit outdated so its hard to know if you're doing everything right when entering the property and leaving (the key box was no where to be found). Highly recommend staying here, great for families or big groups

Great Rental

We only stayed one night, and usually travel with 3 kids and 2 dogs, but this trip was boys trip to the dunes with Dad and 2 boys (8, 12). House is spacious and well stocked, and could easily accommodate more people. The beach is an easy 3-4 min walk. Would def stay again. .

Super location to the beach and town. Host was very responsive to questions.Clean, bright and fresh. Everything we needed and very comfortable beds.I would love to return and spend more time to check out the area, sadly a few days are just not enough.

Family Get Together

This was a very nice home for our family to stay together while in town for a larger family reunion. There are three separate full bathroom in three different areas of the house which fit nicely for our three-unit family. Our peeps are older; but if we still had young children, this home would be great... it has so much for little ones! Entrance to the beach nearby is a plus!

Walk to the Beach

It's a bit chilly out there, but you can indeed walk to the beach. We spent a few days exploring the Oregon Coast so this was a great spot to stay. The 1-mile hike up Saint Perpetua is well worth your time!

Great for family

Fun place for families with kids. Stairs have child proof gate, but the stairs are steep for small kids. Great tub in the master! The house is stocked with kids books and some toys too.

Lovely home close to the beach

This home is no doubt one of the cleanest homes I have stayed in and I stay in many! Everything is very convenient and handy in this home. It is close enough to town and definitely close to the beach! We had such a great time staying there! We went into town for our meals and did not cook there, however, the kitchen is definitely stocked! Definitely will hope for this house in the future!

Wet Oregon coast escape

Wonderful space, very family/kid friendly dispite some very narrow stairs. We spent the majority of our time indoors due to the Oregon liquid sunshine, but the space was well furnished and decorated, had a variety of games and toys for toddlers to adult plus baby essentials, and provided essentials/amenities. Great hosts, highly recommend!

Hi! I am Kelly,

Our little family (my husband and two kids) are based in Bend, Oregon but our love of traveling has taken us all over the United States and around the world.

One thing that has always remained the same is our connection to the Oregon coast. We have always been captivated by the ocean and in love with the local’s vibe of Florence. We spent 2019 turning our dreams into reality and making Heceta Hideout our home away from home in Florence, Oregon.

Our interests include living the good life! To us, a good life includes music, inspiring books, vintage cars, outdoor adventure, family memories, and eating wonderfully made food. A perfect trip for us is becoming a local in places traveled as well as the perfection of the small things like a good walk, a cup of coffee, and great conversations and connections.

I have worked in the luxury hospitality industry for over 6 years. I have seen my fair share of hotels and Airbnb houses. As a host, I know what makes a trip memorable both good and bad. I can’t wait to share my values of a 5-star experience with you.

Our property is steps from the beach and you will have the entire place to yourself. We welcome you to our home to live the good life and become a local.
