Bright waterfront home, 20 minutes to Acadia. Hot tub

The cove house is a waterfront home with tidal water, it offers changing scenery and opportunity to view wildlife throughout the day. Inside, it has a wide open floor plan for sharing family dinners and game night. Outside, there is an upper level deck with a dining set. The lower lower deck is larger with oversized furniture, a grill, and a small fire pit. It’s private, but with easy access to Acadia and Bar Harbor.

Peaceful home, beautiful views

Our family of 5 loved this house! It’s an easy drive to Acadia yet the area is very peaceful. The house is bright and clean with lots of common areas. We loved the beautiful ocean view and of course the hot tub! The hosts went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect during our stay.

Great stay

Prefect spot if you want quick access to Acadia/Bar Harbor but want to stay away from the crowds. House is well equipped and comfortable.

Quiet getaway with family

Great property to enjoy the outdoors. A plus that pets were allowed because they loved it. Little further to Acadia then expected as took us 30-35 minutes. Beds were comfy just make sure you don’t have too many for one bathroom. Host had good communication and provided everything you could need.

Wonderful and relaxing stay

The house was clean and had everything we needed, including house robes and slippers. We took advantage of the kayaks, hot tub, and fire pit. The beds were comfortable and plenty of couches to lounge around (the one downstairs reclines). There was even a telescope to view the stars. We were a bit worried about the 1 bathroom for 8 people, but somehow we made it work successfully during our 3-night stay. The owners replied quickly to my texts. For those with a Tesla--there is a supercharger located about 5-10 min from the house at a shopping center with a grocery store, TJMaxx, etc. I would highly recommend this house; we would definitely return!

lovely long weekend with friends

Spacious, bright and relaxing stay. Beautiful lake views, open floor plan, grill, hot tub, spacious kitchen and lovely deck/patio. The lights didn’t seem to work in the upstairs addition with the two bedrooms, and with the tv in that room, it was hard to use it as a functional space. Having the tv in the main part of the house is our only suggestion. That and fixing the electrical in the addition. It worked in the bedrooms, but we couldn’t figure out the lights in the main area. Otherwise, great stay and would definitely recommend.

Stay cancelled - insurance is a waste of money

Gave stars to not punish the host but truthfully have no idea about the details of this listing. Unfortunately our stay had to be cancelled at the last minute due to a family medical emergency that did not meet the insurance standards for reimbursement. Essentially the insurance is a joke and a waste of money as the reimbursable standards are unrealistic in most cancel scenarios.
