This was our family's second time staying here, and we have already booked our trip for next year! This house and location is an absolute gem. Clean, well-stocked, plenty of seating, responsive and kind hosts, and the lake is pristine. We love it here and are already excited for next year!

This lake house was the perfect setting for our 12 member ( 6 adults and 6 children 3-14) family summer vacation. Every detail was thought of in advance by the owner and co-host and communication was excellent. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, there were 4 kayaks and a row boat for our fisherman who caught many bass and perch and the swimming off the dock and floating dock was terrific. Would highly recommend.

We had a large family holiday reunion and we all absolutely loved this house. We have rented a number of places for my family’s get togethers and this home was, by far, the nicest, warmest place ever!!!! Felt like home the minute we walked in. The house had everything we needed and then some. There were so many special touches that the hosts provided- it was perfect!

Elk Mountain

House was perfect for our group. Place is close to Elk Mountain, with a couple small bars/restaurants near by to grab food after being on the mountain all day. Host was terrific, easy to reach via text. Would certainly stay again.

We had such a wonderful stay at this lovely lake house! The house is spacious, comfortable, and well stocked with everything that you need for a relaxing vacation. The hosts provides so many thoughtful amenities; there are books and boardgames for adults and children, cozy throws to use on cool evenings, extra towels, all types of floats for use on the lake, and so much more. The kitchen has high end appliances and is so well stocked with everything you need. Cooking there together with our family was such a pleasure. There are also so many cozy gathering spaces in the house and outdoors. The setting and the lake are beautiful. We spent many hours boating and relaxing outdoors on the deck and by the water.Sharon and Joann provided great information and they were quick to respond to any questions we might have. Our family has been gathering together every summer for many years at a lake house and we all agree that this is the best lake home that we have stayed at. Thank you Sharon and Joann for making this such a wonderful stay for us.We can't wait to return next summer.!

Super Fun Time!

The setting of this home on the lake was so beautiful! We really enjoyed kayaking and fishing from the rowboat and the dock. Inside was every convenience we could need! We loved sitting around the fire at night making smores. Sitting on the deck drinking our coffee in the morning we saw the bald eagle fishing! We will be back!!

Alicia

We had an amazing stay at this home! The house was beautiful- wonderfully decorated and very clean! We visited in February and spent most of the time enjoying Elk Mountain. For those not skiing or snowboarding, there were plenty of activities inside the home to do- books, games, etc. There was plenty of space for our two families. The view of the lake was beautiful and we would love to visit in the summer or fall. The host was very accommodating and even offered us an early check-in and late check-out!

An amazing place near Elk Mountain

We couldn't be happier with our stay! The house was immaculate, and well stocked with everything we needed from towels to a crock pot. We planned on skiing for 3 days, but mother nature had other plans for us and we only got to ski one day. Fortunately the house was filled with games, TVs, or just quiet areas to read and relax. We even got to do a little sledding in the yard. JoAnn and Sharon were wonderful hosts and communicated with us thoroughly during our stay, ensuring we were safe and comfortable through the dicey weather. Highly recommended!!

Hidden Gem

My family, originally from the area, all came back for our family’s 50th reunion in Rock Lake. We had 7 adults, 2 teens and 2 young boys. Everyone enjoyed the lake and all the “lake toys”. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of extra lines & towels and fans. The multiple living areas allowed for everyone to spread out and relax. They have lots of books and games and lots of lake floating toys. The kitchen is EXTREMELY well stocked. We made several meals and found everything we could have needed was already there. My entire family, as well as some extended family who came over to visit and everyone raved about the house and the amenities. I truly have nothing negative to say about this rental. We had a brief situation with the hot water, but the owner was there in 30 minutes and fixed the issue. Sharon was so nice and we had a great time chatting with her. We would absolutely stay here again and will recommend this rental.
