Graduation Celebration

This house was a welcome surprise in its style, space and amenities. My family enjoyed the ambiance of the home as well as the surrounding property and neighborhood. Elk Mountain View’s are amazing as well as the nearby lake. Very quiet and remote area yet there are places to shop for food as well as places to eat not far away.

That said, guests are expected to clean this property (clearly no maid service) to obscene level specified in 3 pages of directions (not included: dumpster location, but the mops are provided so there’s that).

Perfect Stay

The owner of this house knows what it means to be a host. Everything from nightlights in the bathrooms to towel hooks galore, this place was the most well thought out VBRO I’ve ever stayed in. Three Bluetooth speakers around the house for music, beautifully appointed furniture and table for groups, and a pellet stove to dry off your ski gear. Finally, the cabin feel and cool decor made you feel like you’re right at home. Would 100% stay here again.

Fabulous cabin for ski getaway

This cabin is perfect for a ski getaway to Elk mountain. Very clean, property manager is very responsive and easy to deal with. Elk mountain is a quick 5 minute drive! Great way to spend a few days in the winter!!

Cute and Cozy Cabin

Great weekend in this cute cabin. Great location .. minutes to Elk and restaurants. Definitely will be back. House was clean and just so cozy!!! The only thing that would have made things easier would be to have the option of linens. House was clean and we had a great time!!! Very nice place to stay!!!

Perfect family escape

We stayed for the fourth year in a row at this property - everything was the same as always. The property was very clean upon arrival. Kitchen is well equipped for all cooking (and a nice keurig for coffee!). Rooms have a quilt with pillows. Kids always love the bunk room and separate hangout space in the first floor. It’s one of our favorite family traditions to stay here and ski at Elk!

Adorable cabin

This is our 3rd year staying in this adorable cabin and we will definitely be back again. You can see the slopes from the windows and it’s only a 5 minute drive to Elk Mt. The house is always clean upon arrival and the owner is very communicative!

Ski trip

This was our third time visiting the Elk Mountain home. Once again, we had a wonderful time. The home is always exceptionally clean and comfortable. Hope to be back again next year.

Another great trip to our favorite Elk cabin!

Our 3rd annual trip to this cabin nestled right underneath Elk Mountain - and had a great time as always. The house was in great shape, ready for our arrival. The house contained all of the promised amenities. We enjoyed our walks to the lake, skiing and hanging out on the second floor. We had just shy of 4" of snow while we were there. My only wish was that the driveway had been plowed but the instructions sent noted the plow would only come for more than 4". We took shifts shoveling so wasn't a big deal. We'll be back!

Great cabin for a family ski weekend!!

This is our second year staying in this adorable cabin! Brian makes everything so easy, from booking to check-in to check-out. The house is always super clean when we arrive, kitchen has what you need to prepare some easy meals and everyone feels cozy after a snowy day of skiing. We love that it is less than 5 minutes to the slopes! Another great year at Elk!

Amazing home!! 5 STaRs

This home exceeded our expectations! The accommodations were perfect for our group of two families with 5 teenagers (13-15 year olds). The home has everything you would need! Perfect rental for families who love to ski! Elk Mountain was a big hit with our crew. We also enjoyed the Speakeasy Saloon.

My family and I enjoyed yourselves. The place was very clean and I would recommend other to stay. The host was not nice when I contact him for help. He was rude, but the place made up for it once I went in and seen how beautiful it was. It felt like home. The drive and the cost was worth it all.

Perfect family getaway "post" covid.

Such a great property! My family booked this home as a long weekend getaway to celebrate multiple birthdays in the family. The home was clean, well stocked with amenities, beautiful, and just what we needed to unplug and and celebrate. The bedrooms were all spacious and conformable. There was multiple open areas to watch movies, do puzzles, or play games. We didn't venture to the mountain but could see this being a great place to warm up after a day playing in the snow. We're already discussing plans to return in the warmer months to take advantage of the green space and multiple decks. We would highly recommend this cabin!
