This cottage is perfectly situated just a few steps away from the saltwater pool, hot tub, tennis court & picnic area. This bright & airy home offers an open-concept kitchen, dining and living area, 3 bedrooms, and a sleeper sofa. Whether you’re booking a romantic get-away or a family vacation, this is the place for you! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need to prepare your favorite meal. In the living room you will find plenty of comfortable seating and a flat screen TV that’s set up for you to stream your favorite shows.

The master bedroom is furnished with a king size bed, flat screen TV, and an en-suite bathroom . Similarly, the second bedroom has a king size bed, flat screen TV and private entry into a shared bathroom. The third bedroom is equipped with full-sized bunk beds and a flat screen TV. All of the TVs are set up for streaming with Roku devices.

The Rookery, the community in which our cottage is located, offers a variety of amenities for our guests to use as their own. Take a swim in the zero-entry pool or relax in the hot tub. There is a second, more secluded pool on the property for you to enjoy as well. If Tennis is your sport, courts are located right next to the cottage. We are a golf cart friendly community & rentals are readily available with delivery options for your convenience. Information on rentals provided upon booking.

We are located less than 1/2 mile from the beach. Our community has carved out a trail for easy access. This is a very manageable walk but if you’re not up for that you can make the drive in 2 minutes.

We have grocery stores & restaurants near by.

Gulf Shores is just 15 miles away, where there are a variety of activities for you to enjoy. Go spend the day and return to your peaceful oasis on Fort Morgan.

Guest Access:
Guests will have full access to the cottage and the many amenities of our community, including two pools, hot tub and a picnic & grilling area.

The Neighborhood:
This beautiful beach cottage is located in the heart of the Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge and less than a 15 minute walk to the beach. It is located in the Rookery resort community which includes 2 pools (one with a zero entry - great for kids) and area to park your boat during your stay. It is a very quiet, secluded beach community that is great for those wanting to truly relax & get away from the hustle & bustle of crowded beaches and high-rise condos.

Getting Around:
The Rookery is a Golf Cart friendly community. Cart Rentals are available, so please inquire if you would like to arrange for one during your visit. There are several nature trails and an easy walk to the beach. The pool, hot tub and tennis courts are conveniently located right next to our cottage!

Other Things to Note:
The Rookery resort requires all vehicles to have a parking pass. We will supply 1 free parking passes for your vehicle as part of your booking. If you need more than 1 parking pass, please let us know. There is an additional $35 fee per parking pass over the 1 that is provided. Message us after booking to arrange for additional passes. Please note: Spring 2025 the hot tub will be unavailable due to remodeling. The pool remains open and heated. Hot tub will be open starting in June.
