Castaway II est une belle maison de plage situĂ©e Ă  moins de 100 mĂštres de la plus jolie et peut-ĂȘtre de la plage la moins frĂ©quentĂ©e du monde! Les 4 chambres et 3 salles de bain de la maison, ainsi que la cuisine complĂšte, le bar-salle Ă  manger, la salle Ă  manger spacieuse, la taniĂšre et la buanderie offrent une piĂšce gĂ©nĂ©reuse pour votre sĂ©jour. La maison dispose de carrelage (sauf les chambres), est entiĂšrement meublĂ©e, avec une cuisine entiĂšrement meublĂ©e, avec tous les petits appareils nĂ©cessaires, lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes et cuisiniĂšre; -tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour des vacances tranquilles et reposantes dans notre communautĂ© rĂ©sidentielle unifamiliale sans condo. Tous les draps et serviettes sont fournis sans frais supplĂ©mentaires. Une laveuse et une sĂ©cheuse sont Ă  la maison pour votre usage; TĂ©lĂ©viseurs dans la salle familiale et la chambre principale avec satellite pour votre plaisir, ainsi que des lecteurs DVD et magnĂ©toscopes.

La chambre principale a un lit king size; une autre chambre a des lits jumeaux; et, les deux autres chambres ont chacune des lits queen size.

Le pont avant fait face à l'est - parfait pour profiter d'un lever de soleil sur la cÎte du golfe, et est ombragé l'aprÚs-midi pour profiter de la vue sur le golfe et les brises constantes du golfe. Cette maison est située à environ 300 pieds (longueur d'un terrain de football) du golfe - les impasses de la rue (Bernard Court East) sur la plage pour un accÚs direct à la plage - il n'y a pas de coupure à travers la propriété d'autres personnes, ou de marcher de grandes distances pour accéder à la plage.

Il y a un réfrigérateur supplémentaire sous la maison pour votre usage. La zone sous la maison est en béton qui fournit une aire de stationnement et / ou une aire de jeux ombragée pour les enfants. Il y a beaucoup de stationnement hors rue pour plusieurs véhicules, votre bateau ou autre embarcation.

L'alcool est autorisĂ© sur nos plages, tout comme les animaux de compagnie. Vous ĂȘtes libre de laisser les parasols en place pendant la nuit.

Clean and comfy with easy access to the beach. I have a senior dog in heart failure who takes medication twice a day. Being able to bring him with me and not add stress was priceless.

Our stay at Castaway II was ok. We really enjoy this location in Fort Morgan as the streets dead end to the beach; it is a short walk, not crowded and no large high rise condos. The house was large and accommodating to the 5 adults and 2 teenagers. The house could be cleaner and needs updating. Upon our arrival we found the washer full of wet towels – hopeful that they were left by the cleaning crew earlier in the day. We understood the house to be pet friendly and that is why we booked so that we would have the option to bring our dogs (we did not), but the carpet in the primary was so stained and gross it took me 3 days to finally give in and walk on it barefoot. The check out instructions are super easy and they do not ask much of you, but that may also be why I felt the need to wash every kitchen item before use – we were thankful that we brought a lot of paper products and plastic utensils. The house is advertised to have an extra fridge/freezer in the lower level – it is physical there, but a brand new fully frozen bag of ice half way defrosted in the freezer rendering it completely useless. And the big kicker to this house – it DOES NOT HAVE ITS OWN WIFI. They tether the internet from a neighboring property. When we first brought this to the attention of the owners the second evening of our stay, they stated they have never had a problem in 20 years, no one mentions this as an issue and that we should just “go to the beach.” They did attempt to rectify the s

Loved that it was canine friendly

The location was excellent! Wi-Fi was sketchy. One cabinet held WET rusty pans. Those should be trashed. Otherwise, the home was very comfortable for our crew.

The property was in a great location, my kids had a wonderful time on the beach. The property manager stayed in touch and made sure we had a great stay, and at the end of trip my son had left an iPod behind and she made sure we got it before we left town. We would definitely recommend staying here

Beautiful Area

Wow!

Our vacation plans for Colorado fell through a week before we were supposed to go so we booked our trip to Fort Morgan on a whim. This was our first time staying here and WOW!! This property was SO SO perfect for our family. Clean & so close to the beach, we were all thrilled! We met Joe & he was so kind! This place was such a gift to us this week. Guys trip

The house was everything we could have asked for. Guys trip with plan to go deep sea fishing, & the house was convenient to the marina & spacious enough for all 6 of us to be comfortable with plenty of room to spare. Wonderful time

First time in Fort Morgan and booked on a whim. Loved the location and access to beach (quick and easy for kids) the house was very homey and perfect size. Spent most the time out on the beach. Loved that we didn’t have to pack beach toys or our wagon because they had those there, same with towels, rags, etc. We can’t wait to book again!

So close to the beach and quiet neighborhood. House is huge with great kitchen and plenty of cooking utensils (first one I stayed at that had a cast iron skillet) Owners frequently in neighborhood and available without being intrusive. Beach was lovely and just steps away. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. Will be back!

Great Location for Your Beach Stay

This home is a great location for your beach stay. The property is dated, but maintained. Our beds were comfortable, and it was relatively quiet considering all the neighbors were also on vacation. There is no internet service at the property, which was frustrating. The owners have this home between two other of their properties, and have you tether off one of the adjoining property’s routers for internet service. This limited internet use to specific areas of the house. Also, the property owner would show up unannounced. While it was nice to have things fixed in a timely manner, you never knew when there would be a knock at your door from one of the owners.

Joe and I enjoy actively participating in our Church, traveling with our friends, boat rides, fishing and shrimping, riding the ferry to Dauphin Island, bike rides in the Fort Morgan and Dauphin Island area, and enjoying the prettiest beach in the world- here in Ft. Morgan!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

The Fort Morgan area reminds us of how Gulf Shores was forty (40) years ago- prior to the proliferation of condos. Ft. Morgan is a quiet, peaceful place to relax and enjoy the pristene white sandy beach, salt air, and ever-present Gulf breezes; a community of single-family homes; with great neighbors and friends.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Only a short walk (less than 100 yards-the length of a football field). Our street (Bernard Court East) actually dead ends onto the beach- there is no cutting through other property owner's yards, or walking down the beach front road east or west to access the 'public' areas. The Gulf ( and Bay views when leaves are off the trees in the Fall and Winter) can be enjoyed from the front deck. Since the house is located about a 1/4 mile away from Fort Morgan Marina, and approximately a mile from the Ft. Morgan historic site with public boat launch and fishing pier (to be remodeled in the coming year), there are a lot of fishing and boating activities available- we enjoy shrimping and fishing in Mobile Bay.
