Cozy and VERY spacious cabin within 20 miles of Yellowstone.

Winter- Located just off the highway for easy winter access, and far away enough from any road noise. Ride your snowmobile straight from the cabin with endless possibilities for exploring or trail riding. Two main spots to rent snowmobiles are a few minutes away and you can ride the snowmobile from there straight to the cabin. This cabin is a great place to enjoy the incredible winters Island Park has to offer. Parking- there is a large wraparound driveway that can accommodate a few trucks and trailers. Additional parking in front of the garage for a large truck or two smaller vehicles. There’s also a very large common area below where people park large trailers. Most days a two wheel drive has no problem in the neighborhood, but we highly recommend AWD or 4wd if you happen to stay during a storm. . Summer - Cabin is located just 15-20 minutes from
Located in the heart of the Idaho outdoors. Enjoy just about every outdoor activity possible from this central location. Most visitors are here to see the breathtaking views of Yellowstone National Park less than 20 minutes away. We also offer endless ATV trails, world-class fishing, and outdoor adventures that are sure to awe and inspire. This cozy and VERY spacious cabin is the perfect retreat for families looking to enjoy the area. This cabin is just like Goldilocks and the three bears story, because you’ll have plenty of choices when it comes to selecting a great room to rest, bathroom to bathe, and couch to get cozy. The front deck is also a great place to lounge while the kids play in the spacious yard that is over half an acre. This cabin is not a stuffy pretentious lodge, but a place where family has gathered for generations. It has had its use and feels like a rustic cabin, but rest assured, we go to great lengths to provide a clean environment with all the amenities of home. Justin, the property manager lives just down the street and is happy to help with anything during your stay. We have a max of 15 guests on the property at any time, not just overnight stays. This is to comply with local ordinances and out of respect for the cabin and neighbors.

The stay was great! Good directions and no trouble getting into the rental with plenty of parking. The space was clean and had a comfortable and welcoming feel. We had several babies and toddlers so the extra space to put little ones down was great! Very well stocked with everything. Minor issues came up but Justin was on top of everything and helped quickly with our needs. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a comfortable and fun launching point to stay while enjoying Yellowstone!

Family trip to Yellowstone

The property was close to the parks but in a quiet area away from the traffic. The house had a lot of space which was great for family. We could tell they were still doing updates to the property but it did not interrupt our stay.

Perfect place for our family vacation!

Our family stayed here for our Yellowstone vacation. Justin was a great host and any questions we had he answered immediately. The location was perfect not only close to Yellowstone but also to the general store, lake and several fishing spots. This was place was perfect for our family we had plenty of room! The place was fully stocked and had everything we needed. The kitchen has 2 ovens which was great when making large meals!! We enjoyed the fire pit outdoors and watching movies on the big screen in the movie room. Again couldn’t have stayed at a better place and if you’re going to Yellowstone or doing anything in the surrounding area I would highly recommend staying here!!

Excellent Property

Excellent property conveniently located to Yellowstone and state parks. Owner was responsive and helpful, regarding tips and area. Perfectly fit whole family and provided a great location for us to meet up. Would Definitely recommend, plenty of bathrooms, bedrooms. Everything you might need has been thought of.

A Fun place!

It was comfortable, room for everyone, grandchildren loved the upstairs bedroom where they had their "sleepover", the home theater was fun for them too. The adults had positive feedback the grandchildren were happy to "go back to their cabin"! The lodging was in a quiet location, friendly neighbors when they were out, a relaxing place. Our whole family enjoyed it. A nice place not far to West Yellowstone and the Park entrance.

Amazing!

We had such an awesome time. There was room for everyone to have their room. The cabin was stocked with everything you could imagine. We lived sitting in the deck, and also roasting s'mores over the fire pit.

Outstanding Location for Family Get Together

The location was great! The property is awesome for medium size family get togethers. Thoroughly enjoyed the roominess for our family of 13 and there was much more room for kids. We were able to prepare all the meals and relax after the days of riding. Watched a couple of football games in the "theater" room. Nice location for jumping on trails. Seems like an excellent spot for summertime activities as well. Host was awesome. Will be reaching out for next years get together.

Great location

We had a great time even with the extreme cold temps. House was very spacious. You can tell the owner was making upgrades. Location for sledding was perfect. Large parking lot close to the house and easy to sled right from the driveway. The kids enjoyed the movie room and the adults had more than enough space to sit and visit. Overall we had a great trip.

Get place to play!

If you are looking for a immaculate perfect place to take pictures to put on Facebook this probably isn't for you. BUT if your looking for a great place to take your kids and grandkids where they can play and have a fun time without having to worry if they're going to mess something up or touch something they shouldn't THEN THIS IS YOUR PLACE! Very cozy and well stocked. Everyone loved the beds. We even got to see the neighborhood moose.

Great Stay!

We loved our time here. We spent most of the time at Yellowstone National Park, but looked forward to coming back each evening. Everything was as it was described, and very clean. At the time we were there, the city was experiencing problems with the water system, so we couldn't use the tap water to wash dishes or brush teeth. But Justin made sure that we had plenty of bottled water to use instead. Speaking of Justin, he was a great host. From answering questions before and during our stay, to making sure we had everything we needed and more. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. If you're looking for a place big enough to house everyone, look no further.

Great location for a family reunion

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for an entire week. We needed 5 bedrooms and a Kids room (12 of us stayed here - place has 7 and 20 beds goin kids room) Enough room so that two nights we could get together with entire family (25 people) and still feel like we had room Key points for us: - porch is brand new and with plenty of comfortable deck chairs (people were always out there every night) - Kitchen had everything - Cabin was clean when we arrived / Every supply you could need and plenty of it - Movie room was awesome - Property mgr provided cases and jugs of water due to an issue with the island Lake water supply - beds were comfy (firm, soft, memory foam were on hand) - Each family gave it a five stars Justin (Property manager) did an excellent job - - good contact before our trip - helped me find the right location (Tip: Use Red as Apple Maps sent us to the wrong street with same name) - Stayed in contact over the week to assist (info on places playing music) - notified us of the moose in the neighborhood. We’re lucky to see both the female and a make with antlers - Handled all of our needs Other - Property is 20-25 minutes to West Yellowstone entrance - Recommend Island Lake Lodge for pontoon boat rentals (get 13 person or seafoo to pull inner tubes) Great trip had by all
