Located on a dead-end gravel road atop the bluff, this home is heavenly. Completely private, beautiful gardens and views surround you. Pack a bath bomb and soak in the tub, relax in the hammock or take a walk on the mowed path that winds around the tree line and wildflower prairie. Conveniently located a few minutes from Stockholm, Pepin and all the local wedding venues! Liberty Tree Farm (4 miles), Twin Bluff Farm/Event Center (2 miles), The Harbor View Cafe (7 miles), Maidenwood Wedding/Events (9 miles), Hidden Meadow Wedding Venue (12 miles), Village of Stockholm (2.4 miles), Villa Bellezza Winery/Vinyard (6 miles). This is a perfect choice for a romantic getaway, group coming in for a wedding/event or a girl's weekend!
You can enjoy all the comforts of this 3 bedroom/2 bath home while being close to so many attractions. (Please note; soaking tub on main level, shower is in the basement bathroom). Have some old-fashioned fun with the basement ping pong table! Charcoal grill and firepit for use (bring own charcoal/wood).

The listing tells it all. We would stay here again. Everything was lovely, extremely clean and ready for us. We have family nearby so we knee about this hidden gem and Katie was wonderful in communicating.

Our family stay was perfect. It was in close proximity of our family wedding venue. The accommodations were perfect and setting was beautiful for both sunrises and sunsets!

Fisherman's retreat

I rented the property for a place to stay for a fishing tournament. It worked great! Plenty of parking and electrical plug-ins for the boats. And the house was very nice and clean.

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY

The home was perfect for our needs. The home was perfectly clean. The natural ambiance was perfect for two seniors who love the natural world and the quiet of nature. The owner Katie could not have more accommodating or responsive when we had a question. The house was very well decorated and reflected many of our shared values. It was "perfect in every way."

Perfect retreat!

We were in the area for a friend's wedding and this was the perfect place! The home was extremely comfortable and welcoming. The location was so peaceful! Loved our weekend stay here!

Wedding Wonderland

In the area for our daughter’s wedding at Woods & Co. our stay was great. The house is perfect for relaxing and provides space for people to spread out. The property is isolated and so quiet. Grounds are beautiful and we even had someone sleep in the hammock until the storm rolled in. All of us had a great stay, son left his blow dryer so that’s our contribution to the venue Don’t change a thing. Beds are very comfy house well stocked. Lovely, peaceful and just the place to relax and enjoy time together. Thanks so very much for letting us share your place.

Great location to wedding venue in Pepin

It was a very quiet, peaceful location. A Good driving distance for a wedding we went to in pepin. Kitchen was well stocked. The weekend weather was very hot and air worked well. It seemed like a great gathering place for groups. Has nice outdoor fireplace area. However for older adults it did not have very many easy to get out of chairs. The only ones in ping pong basement area were bungie cord ones. It took two to help get my brother in law out The porch living room had a comfy sofa and one chair. The other two were light weight sling chairs. There were four adults and two teens in our group. No one wanted to sit in sling chairs. The sitting area in kitchen had four comfortable chairs for visiting but not to curl up and relax/read in. One more area that could use a comfy chair is master bedroom. Large room with a Beautiful wall of windows but no chair - only a bed and night stands. It would have been a great quiet place to have a chair for reading. The bath tub was great for having a soaking bath. But again age wise it was so deep a grab bar somewhere to get out after shower would be good for safety.
