Our home is surrounded by gorgeous landscaping and over 20 palm trees that will make you feel welcome as they gently wave at you through out your stay . The pool is newly remodeled and has a built in whirlpool to enjoy the natural beauty of your surroundings . Located near all the local attractions , this property is only 15 minutes from the Mcallen airport , 15 minutes from the world birding center , 1 hour to South Padre Island , 1 hour to Spacex Starbase and only minutes to any of our hundreds of world class mexican/texmex eateries .

The pool was fantastic and the property manager Joe was so helpful! The host was easy to get in touch with and quick to respond with any issues. There is some general maintenence that could be done on the property but overall a great stay and would definitely use them again.

Fantastic Location and Amenities

Definitely enjoyed the stay, great house great pool great play area and more than enough space to keep your kids quiet. When we come down in a few more months we'll definitely try to book this joint again.

Comfortable and peaceful stay

We had a great time. The pool and outdoor spaces are beautiful and the house is comfortable and has all the amenities that we needed. The grounds keeper was also extremely helpful and quick to address any issue. Would stay again!

Excellent vacation property for kids and adults

Selected this property due to pool and playground for grandkids. Property was as described in listing (rooms, amenities, etc.), clean, and ready to use. We spent much of our time in the pool and on the grounds, and adults had as much fun as kids. Nice to have the tables and chairs with umbrella, as the sun was very intense.

Better Than The Pictures

Pictures can be deceiving and we were so thankful to find out that the pictures actually don't even do this place justice. The backyard is a paradise, the house is super nice, and the property manager was super receptive and handled anything immediately. Definitely Recommend

Family Time

The property had a huge backyard. We were able to play games, when we weren’t in the pool. The property is fenced so we didn’t need to worry about the kids wandering off. The landscaping is absolutely beautiful!

Great Family Visit

We booked this spot because our 88 year old father lives in Mission. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations. It was only 5 miles from his place and centrally located to everything we wanted to do. In all actuality, we stayed at the house and they came over for visits everyday. We sat out by the pool and the dogs enjoyed the beautiful backyard. Our Aunts from North Texas joined us for steaks on the grill too. Perfect memorable trip. Thanks

Beautiful backyard tropical paradise

Owner was very prompt in responding to our needs. The backyard area was absolutely gorgeous. We spent New Year’s Eve back there hanging out and having a great time. The house was big and clean. The only thing I would add is it would be nice if the spa was heated as we were in there in January, we knew that it wasn’t it would just be a nice touch plenty of blankets towels, etc. The area seemed a little off when we drove up, but never any issues and never felt unsafe even with small children.

Beautiful backyard

We were a family of 7 in town to visit family. The outdoor space was great for the kids and the fire pit area made for a nice evening of smores and catching up. The listing was for a 4 bedroom 3 bathroom. I was expecting 3 full bathrooms but it is 2 full one half . Owner did change listing after I let them know about it however we still paid for something we did not receive.

My wife and I were born and raised in the RGV . We have been married for over 25 years and we have 3 children . Since 2000 we called this place home and we made so many wonderful memories . After the Pandemic we moved to San Antonio and we didn’t have the heart to part with this home . We decided to go the short term rental route so we wouldn’t have to sell it and we could still enjoy it when visiting family . We have enjoyed hosting these past 3 years and absolutely love sharing our home with guests from all parts of the USA and the world . Please sign our guest book and include a short summary of your experience for us and others to enjoy . That is one of our favorite things to look forward to when we return home .
