OCEANFRONT Waves- Sea Isle Hills Drive - On a quiet street in the heart of Waves, LAS OLAS makes for the perfect peaceful getaway.

At this oceanfront location you can sit on the two levels of decks and watch the sea oats sway in the wind as you take in fabulous ocean views. It's a short distance over the single dune border to this pristine stretch of beach. Double carports under the house provide ample parking, and an outdoor shower lets you rinse off before coming in off the beach.

On the second level are 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, and a game room with pool table and flat screen TV, perfect for indoor fun. Upstairs on the third level, is a spacious king bedroom with semi-private bath, plus a large, open great room, dining area, and kitchen with a convenient breakfast bar. Each bedroom has its own flat screen TV. The décor is bright and cheerful, with splashes of color throughout the home, perfect for a nice seaside vacation.

Exceeded expectations

We were able to get in the property a couple hours earlier than expected, which was great because we had a kiddo with an ear infection. The accommodations were all super clean, comfortable and more spacious than depicted in pictures ahead of time. Minor issues, the exterior shower didn’t quite work right. It’d be nice if there was a beach trolley or a cabinet to leave such items for future guests.

Horrible customer service, deceiving beach access, unstable house

We knew prior to our stay in August that Waves doesn’t have a lot of stores/restaurants so we planned accordingly for food and menu for the week. We were celebrating birthdays on the 2nd day of our stay and we spent hundreds of dollars on a steak dinner for all 10 guests. Within seconds of putting the steaks on the grill the entire thing went up in flames, completely ruining our birthday celebration and also our entire meal plan for the rest of the week, as we were planning to grill and unable to. We were very lucky that no one was hurt. In addition to the grill there were a few things that we brought to the attention of an employee of Surf or Sound Realty via a # they provided us. Throughout the course of our week we contacted this number several times and each time we were assured our concerns would be addressed and resolved, to which each time they were ignored. We book beach houses yearly and have never had such incredibly poor customer service. The realty company requests that upon checkout that you clean the grill, however, this wasn’t just one or two weeks of not having been cleaned, this in addition to other things on the list was something that had likely not been cleaned or checked by the property manager all summer, and has the potential to be very dangerous. The house was spacious, but you could feel it shaking upon every move as if it were unstable. There is beach access but it’s very misleading and up a giant dune, and a very hard walk for children and elderly.
