This is the second time we have stayed at the Sea Pearl. We love staying here the location is perfect. Plenty of room with everyone having their own bathroom. I will have to say that the front left room with the walk in shower the water pressure is really low but the other showers were not like that. But all in all we will stay there agin if available.

The only real disappointment during our stay was the condition of the pool and fire pit. When we arrived, the pool water was very low and the bottom of the pool was filled with sand. I’m not sure when the pool cleaners were scheduled to come, or if they came at all, but the sand was never removed from the bottom of the pool during our stay. We ultimately had to add water to the pool ourselves. The following morning, the pool was also filled with bugs. There was a pool net provided for guests to use, but it had no netting on it, so it was completely unusable. I’m not sure why it was hanging by the pool in that condition. These are things I would expect to be checked and addressed before guests arrive. We were also looking forward to using the fire pit during our stay. It certainly wasn’t because we needed it for warmth—the weather was extremely hot—but it was something we were looking forward to enjoying. Unfortunately, we were disappointed again to find that the fire pit wasn’t working.Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the pool and fire pit issues were disappointing and took away from some of the amenities we were expecting to be able to enjoy. A little more attention to the maintenance and inspection of these amenities before guests arrive would have made a significant difference.

The house was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. The pool and outdoor space were wonderful. The master bathroom vanity (right) had no hot water. The hot water in the house was not sufficient for six adults. The center ceiling fan on the front porch is not in working order. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and will definitely return.

Hi Lauren! We're so glad it was a good visit for the group! Please know we're available to assist in any way, and that we would have been happy to see about resolving any lack of or insufficient hot water. We didn't hear back from you when we made a mid-visit call to check on your comfort and satisfaction, but we'll be sure to take a look at these items now that we've been made aware. Thanks for letting us know! Hope to see you again soon.

Clean and a lot of amenities

Clean and a lot of amenities. The beds were squeaky and not super comfortable for us, but there was a ton of room! There were a lot of plates, silverware, etc, but no oven mitts for cooking. The pool is really nice and clean, but it is on the east side of the house and gets blocked from the sun after lunch, which make it a little on the cold side to swim later in the season.

We're also just a phone call away if you find you are missing any necessary items (oven mitts, etc), nothing is considered too small and we're happy to help make your stay more comfortable in any way we can!

We love the layout of the house, and the location was great!

Lovely home for SGI

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a lovely and weld laid out rental home in SGI. It was clean and fresh and had the basics of what you would need to start your vacation. We only complain and unfortunately a big complaint, s that the new mattress box springs on every bed is extremely squeaky so much so that every move makes loud squeaks that would wake up your partner. Besides that it was perfect.

Nice Place

Proximity to all things on SGI was great. The house is new without a doubt, but the furniture has already taken some heavy use and wear n tear. Several pool furniture pieces are falling apart and chairs were unsafe to sit in, even for children. The beds are very uncomfortable, and the furniture creaks. We couldn't figure out what was making the beds feel so hot at night, until the last few days we realized it's the mattress covers. Some mattress toppers would help the overall bed feel more comfortable and definitely changing those mattress covers to some breathable or cooling fabric. The house struggles to stay cool, so make sure you're closing doors behind you. The house is big, all guests will have privacy without a doubt. Microwave didn't work when were there (but a small countertop was provided), and the dishwasher sometimes had to be ran twice.

Great floorplan for families

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay June 23-30. The floor plan with the 4 bedrooms all on one level and each with their own bathrooms was perfect for our group of 11. Close proximity to the beach and the pool was a welcome reprieve from the beach in the late afternoon! Only suggestion would be the beds in all the rooms were squeaky and a tad uncomfortable for all of us so maybe mattress toppers might be an option?? Other than that we would definitely stay here agai. Which is the biggest compliment I can give in a review!

Great House!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been to St. George many times over the last 20 years so we have stayed in several different homes. The Sea Pearl had some great aspects! It is a beautiful home with lots of parking, a huge outdoor area by the pool and each bedroom having a bath is amazing!! Especially with multiple families or couples. We had one tiny issue with a door and Forgotten Shores was VERY responsive and came out to fix the issue very quickly. Our only complaint were the mattresses and pillows. They were very worn, old mattresses and very cheap pillows and linens. All of the adults woke up stiff or with back aches daily lol, so I think the mattresses are in much need of replacement. Besides that issue, the rest of the home was A+!
