Guests will love to cozy up near the wood stove during the winter while your sketch (art supplies provided) or curl up in the summer in the double-person hammock to enjoy the world-famous New Mexico night sky that is perfect for stargazing. This charming, creative and hand-crafted space is peaceful and quiet, yet only 20 minutes from the iconic historic city of Santa Fe. Wander through the 5-star fine art gallery that is walking distance from the Casita on the 14-acre Hat Ranch Gallery Compound. This adobe Casita is truly a quiet, peaceful and authentic Santa Fe Experience where you can see the sites of Santa Fe and engage in some serious retail therapy or simply retreat into the Casita and recharge your soul. Quiet, beautiful, and comfortable!

Excellent property. Perfect for a getaway, but also close to Santa Fe. Fully stocked kitchen supplies and plenty of art supplies for those interested!

This is absolutely THE BEST place I have ever stayed on Vrbo. It has everything you need! It is the most calm, quiet retreat you can find and Sara is the most wonderful, kindest host ever, aka AWESOME! You definitely have to check out her art gallery, which is full of beautiful pieces for sale. If you want a place with the best view, no noise, and no people, this is your spot.

Loved the Mud House

The Mud Houser is in a beautiful location. Views are spectacular. The property was just as lovely. Very much enjoyed our stay there and many thanks to Sara for being such a great host. We’ll be back.

Captivating casita

Sara's Adobe Casita was a mesmerizing and memorable stay on our trip through the Southwest. The location is beautiful with long-fetch views of the Sandia Mountains and spectacular sky. The casita itself was beyond charming; filled with art, cozy and comfortable. Our 4 days there could have easily been four weeks! Sara was a most responsive and enjoyable host...we will be back.

Great getaway and refuge!

The casita is a home away from home! Each piece of furniture was carefully selected and the walls were decorated with beautiful art work. Sara, the owner, was extremely nice and helpful with anything that I needed and responded to all my questions right away. The bed was comfy and sleeping underneath the stars in the hammock made me feel as if I was in heaven. I was doing a retreat at Synergia Ranch and this is a perfect place to stay! It gave me the quietude and connection with nature that I needed and I felt restored and happy. I look forward to coming back to this magical place!
