Casita Azul: historic and cozy Santa Fé adobe

Historic adobe casita, in quiet village 10 mns from town, for a quiet peaceful stay. Brick floors, beams, fireplace (xtra cleaning fee), modern heating and cooling system, large screen TV, internet, kitchen. King bed in master, full size futon in living room. Trails out the door, dining a short drive away, high mountains and desert. Casa Corazon on other side of house (very private, separate driveway, patio) can be rented with Azul.

Large living room kitchen with a big fireplace. Private patio and covered porch. Full bathroom with custom tilework and washer/dryer. Large bedroom with king bed and antique furniture. Futon couch (full-size bed) in living room. Bedroom is at the end of hallway, please note if you're sharing the space, bedroom is tucked away, but there is no door separating it from rest of house. We have French antiques in the bedroom from my grand-parents (dresser, mirror and armoire). Armoire is not usable by guests (we store linens in it). Please be gentle with the dresser, and mirror, like you would be with a 100+ year old grand-mother. Pull drawers open from both sides so they don't open crooked. We appreciate it. Thanks.

You will need a car as the house is in the countryside about a 10-min drive to town.

House is thoroughly cleaned between reservations (minimum 24 hours between guests) and we provide extra cleaning products to our guests. ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES OR GATHERINGS OUTSIDE OF REGISTERED GUESTS. Curfew 9pm for all outdoor areas. Also, we are allergic to dog and cat hair so have a strict no pet policy.
Quiet hours due to location in a village: 9pm-9am. NO PARTIES, NO GATHERINGS outside of registered guests. All guests must register with host. Very important: Please leave front door and windows that don't have a bug screen closed to prevent pests from entering. 2 people maximum unless approved by host. 1 king bed is set up for your use. We can provide bedding for a full-size futon bed for an additional cost ($45).
Fireplace use: if you are experienced in building fires in a fireplace, you may do so but must follow instructions. There will also be a $25 cleaning fee to be left cash inside house for housekeeper. Please let housekeeper dispose of ashes for safety reasons. Please take off your shoes if they are muddy before entering the house. No candle burning anywhere in the house for safety reasons. If you have bicycles, please keep them locked in your vehicle or in the yard. No smoking, not even outside in the back or front yard due to fire hazard. No loud music in the yard or inside the house, we have neighbors and try to be respectful of their peace and quiet. Per Airbnb policy and due to health and safety concerns, we do not allow pets of any type. We are allergic to pet and cat hair, and have shared spaces (open yard) where an animal may create a safety concern for our neighbors and/or guests staying at the property next door. Please bag all your trash (we provide several trash bags for your stay but if you need more, let us know) and place in large green trash bin outside. We will take it out to the street but no un-bagged trash as it will be rejected by trash collection company and we will have to charge you for taking to the dump. Check-out time is 11 am. Any late check-out will result in a $35/hour charge. Please leave the keys where you found them, make sure all windows are closed and lock the front door on your way out. Thank you.
