PLEASE NOTE: All-wheel-drive or 4x4 vehicles are mandatory from October-May so you can navigate the winding gravel roads leading to the cabin. Chains are recommended.

* 4x4 or AWD is mandatory from October through May for safe access to the property and is recommended year-round due to mountain roads

⛰️ALTITUDE PSA
The cabin is located at 11,000 feet altitude in a peaceful location with amazing mountain views. Most guests adjust fairly well, but some people experience altitude sickness, regardless of activity level.

If you are traveling from sea-level or have a history of altitude sickness, we recommend spending a day or two in Denver to help you adjust.

We also encourage you to talk to your doctor about prescription medications that may help. We have heard from our doctor friends (who get altitude sickness themselves) that these are very effective.
