Welcome to -The First Leg- Our home has been newly renovated with comfort in mind. It is a cozy two bedroom, one bath with a nicely equipped kitchen. We offer internet that claims up to 500 Mbps Ethernet, gets 250 on WiFi, new and comfortable furniture with fresh paint and decor throughout.

The living room has a sectional sofa, a side chair and a workstation. You'll find a 50in Roku smart TV and a cordless Bluetooth speaker on the media center.

The kitchen has a stylish bar type table and a coffee bar with your choice of Keurig, french press or drip coffee maker. All the cooking essentials are present, including pots and pans, flatware and cutlery, cooking utensils and spices. You'll also find a stainless glass top range and microwave, refrigerator/freezer and built-in dishwasher.

The home sleeps 4 comfortably with a queen in the main bedroom and a twin and trundle in the 2nd bedroom. 2 more can sleep on the sectional sofa.

At the rear door there is a patio with a small fire pit flanked by 2 benches, a picnic table and a charcoal BBQ grill. You'll also find 4 well lit private parking spaces and a small flat lawn.

Guests have full access to the property except for a locked utilities room.

I love living in this neighborhood because it's so close to so many things. You can walk to Derby Dinner Playhouse or Colgate Park and Pool, bike or jog to the Ohio River Greenway and the Falls of the Ohio State Park, take a public bus to Old Jeffersonville or Downtown Louisville, or drive to Clarksville's shopping district and all of Louisville's Olmsted Parks.

This cozy home is just off the freeway and very easy to find. By either car or bus it's just minutes from all that downtown Louisville has to offer. If you're a traveling nurse or professional you'll find many hospitals within 3 miles. While a car is my favorite way to get around, biking is also very doable here with the Ohio River Greenway and the Louisville Loop nearby. Also, the bus line (TARC route 72) is two blocks away and it's 10 minutes via bus the Downtown Louisville business district and the International Convention Center.
