Belle maison avec de belles vues sur le lac Supérieur

Cette maison est une dĂ©couverte rare. À partir du moment oĂč vous entrez, vos sens sont submergĂ©s par la beautĂ© naturelle qui vous entoure. Cette retraite est situĂ©e sur une falaise de 20 mĂštres surplombant le lac SupĂ©rieur, sur la piste cyclable Gitchi-Gami. Les gens du coin l'appellent «la maison en verre» en raison des vues de 180 degrĂ©s du lac SupĂ©rieur.

Nous avons rĂ©cemment ajoutĂ© la climatisation pour les rares moments oĂč la CĂŽte-Nord est touchĂ©e par le rĂ©chauffement climatique.

Tout prĂšs de la station de ski de Lutsen pour profiter de toutes les commoditĂ©s, mĂȘme si loin d'ĂȘtre loin de toute la foule pour un moment de tranquillitĂ©. Les murs extĂ©rieurs ont une vitrine de 65% avec vue sur le lac et les bois. Une lucarne de 10 pieds et 15 pieds lave la piĂšce principale avec de la lumiĂšre. L'effet total est que vous ĂȘtes Ă  l'intĂ©rieur mais que vous vous sentez Ă  l'un avec la nature.

Dans la grande salle se trouve une cuisine complĂšte, deux salles Ă  manger, une cheminĂ©e Ă  gaz et une magnifique zone de lit sous la lucarne. Les fenĂȘtres, avec une belle vue sur l'eau, sont encadrĂ©es de fenĂȘtres. Sous la fenĂȘtre, les siĂšges sont de nombreux livres qui intĂ©ressent tous les lecteurs, plus de nombreux jeux pour toute la famille Ă  jouer. Les chambres, qui sont sĂ©parĂ©es par la grande salle, disposent de lits queen et de salles de bains privĂ©es. La salle de bain principale dispose d'une douche Ă  vapeur et d'un bain Ă  remous, d'une baignoire surdimensionnĂ©e et profonde qui surplombe le lac. La grande salle peut accueillir 2 personnes supplĂ©mentaires.

Check-in was a breeze, and the location of the home was great. We usually stay at Lutsen Sea Villas but decided to try a different location this year. Although the home was beautiful, the heating system was problematic. The fireplace didn’t work, and while the caretaker initially seemed motivated to help, communication eventually stopped altogether.That issue didn’t bother us much since we weren’t in the house often. We arrived Friday evening, were out of the house by 9–10 a.m. Saturday, didn’t return until 4–5 p.m., and checked out by 10 a.m. Sunday.After our stay, I received a message from the owner asking if I “wanted to tell her about the hole in the wicker on the back of the couch.” We had no idea what she was referring to and barely used the living space. There were only four of us—all responsible adults in our 30s—and we treated the home with care.While I understand damages can happen, the way it was addressed felt unnecessarily accusatory and condescending. A simple, respectful inquiry would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad impression, and we’ll likely return to Lutsen Sea Villas in the future.

This home is amazing. The 180 degree views of Lake Superior has a million dollar view- beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We have visited our 3rd time now and love how relaxing the home is for reading, drawing, writing, game playing and puzzle making for our family with grandparents. We also love close proximity to great waterfall hikes, bike rides, and a short drive to Grand Marais.

This property is out dated , the pictures of view need updated . The trees are grow up on bluff blocking view of lake from fire pit area. House is musty with no ac or ceiling fans , a dehumidifier would be nice .

Wonderful place! Clean, gorgeous view, and great location. I would hesitate staying there if it was a hot week in the summer. Because of the architecture, the living room gets really hot! We were lucky with mild weather and it still got up to 90 degrees!

Short but Sweet

This was just a two night stay, but very hot weather, forest fire smoke, rain and fog did their best to spoil the marvelous view and challenge the home’s cooling system.

Stunning lake view

We have friends visiting from the UK for the first time, and we wanted to give them the full MN experience. The North Shore and this beautiful home did not disappoint. 3rd Visit to Horizons

Over 15 years this is our 3rd visit to your home. The view is beautiful. Dead flies in the hot tub was not inviting. Not much updating has been done, could use refreshing. The black couch facing the lake is very uncomfortable and should be replaced. Needed to open the windows even when the temperature was about 50F, which was fine. TV watching area could use an upgrade to a bigger screen. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay, just providing some honest comments to help you improve. We hiked the Superior Hiking trail twice and got pretty sore and tired but it was fun. Directions to the place are very easy.Richard Herr952-221-3838 if you have questions.

Beautiful Stay

Kittie assumed the risk of six late-teenage boys staying at her property. A risk many home owners would instantly shy away from. Though, We were generously let into Kitties wonderful home. This house is nothing shy of spectacular, from the stylistic modern architecture to the intimate views offered from the lighthouse-like living room. Kitties property is an acceptant place to cozy in while spectating and pondering all the beautiful nature that is encompassed by the property. The amenities of the house were more than enough to provide us a space to cook two meals and sleep all six of us comfortably (as well as provide a spa room to warm up after being in the cold all day). The sound system provided the house with an instant mood setter and the ability to feel at home with our familiar and loved tracks. Walking around the house and noticing the closeness of the lake is an awe inspiring experience. Being able to watch the way the water moves and how the steam lights up in the late hour sunshine is all one’s needs to learn to truly appreciate the north shore and all it has to offer. Each one of us left our stay with a new found love of the North Shore of Lake Superior and )being our first trip together since our tight group went our separate ways for college) it gave us a chance to reflect upon the uniqueness and importance of our friendships. Thank you Kittie for being a wonderful host and allowing us to enjoy a Beautiful Stay at your lovely home.

Perfect place to relax with family

This is an impressive and unique property with amazing views of Lake Superior. The house is extremely clean and has everything a guest could need-well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and linens, good wifi, and lots of lovely spaces for everyone to relax inside or outside. Just arrive and enjoy!The kind property manager responded immediately when we had a question. We’d love to return again.

Unbelievable View

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The sunrises are something that words can't describe! Wee were also fortunate enough to catch the fall colors at their peak. These are best viewed from the observation platform at the top of the gondola ride, about 5 minutes away.
