Birchwood Resort #7 has been fully remodeled to provide a luxury vacation experience in Wisconsin's Northwoods! With 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and two floors of spacious, modern updates, look no futher for the most relaxing, carefree resort experience. Construction will be complete in May of 2025 - photos of the process and completion will be updated as we progress.

Birchwood Resort has been upgraded and reimagined to showcase the rustic style of the Northwoods and the natural beauty of the resort's ¼ mile of frontage on Little Saint Germain Lake. A private, sandy beach is at the center of the resort, providing a safe and memorable space to swim and splash in the water. Kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle boat are available for guest use, perfect for exploring the island just off the shore from the resort.

Little Saint Germain Lake is a 972-acre lake with several bays to explore and enjoy. Known for great fishing and boating, anglers find musky, panfish, bass, pike, and walleye. Winter adventures are even more fun with over 500+ miles of snowmobile trail throughout Vilas county.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was nice. One suggestion we felt would be helpful is to replace the mattresses on the beds. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Management was very pleasant to work with. Cabin has a nice flat spot for fire right on the lake, and beautiful screened windows facing out over the lake. However cabin itself was a let down otherwise. There are no walls (they stop before the ceiling), and no electrical in any of the bedrooms. Temperature is hard to regulate, electrical wiring was completely exposed in spots, and wires for lighting were just wrapped around the beams to hang them (which were extension cords into other extensions)... Lighting very dark and shower incredibly small.

Basic Cabin, nothing fancy

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin’s location was most important to us, and that was amazing. The resort is close to a lot of St. Germaine local stores, and the cabin is right on the lake with a flat yard and personal fire pit and grill. The yard runs right up to the shared beach, which could be preferred or not, depending on privacy wanted. The cabin itself was a little disappointing for the price; the shower is a small standing stall shower and we never got HOT water (it got warm.. but definitely not a hot shower), the floors looked to be redone recently but poorly done because they’re extremely creaky and not level, the cabin should be explained as “loft style 3- bedroom” because none of the bedrooms have ceilings- so it’s just like cubicle walls in between all the bedrooms (this was fine for us because it was just us, but this could be an issue for privacy or noise), lastly the cabin wasn’t very clean when we arrived- cobwebs, dirty floor, and the power was out when we arrived (my husband found the fuse box and repaired it). Overall, there were some pros and cons, but I think if we rented from this resort again, we would try a different cabin.

The staff was very pleasant, whether it was a question to the office or to a passing by maintenance team member. The kids loved the included lake toys.
