Enjoy a newly remodeled 1940s spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home with a semi private loft with pullout sleeper sofa. Located in a quiet historic neighborhood 1 mile from downtown. Private fenced back yard with covered patio and grill with plenty of relaxed seating. A spacious modern kitchen has brand new appliances, all utensils, cookware and spices needed to prepare meals in the comfort of the home. Comfy beds and a great view of Simpson's Rest will make for a relaxed and restful stay.

Note: The house has a garden apartment with a full time, long term renter.

Host was easy to work with and the home was lovely. The beds were comfortable, but tended to fold inward with 2 people in them. Parking in back was confusing due to neighbors/tenants and we were asked to move our vehicle. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Great layout...loved the dining area and kitchen. The upstairs entertainment room was not my husband's favorite but with that said it made him spend time with family laughing, so I'm for the night tv downstairs. Morning coffee was great with the picture window. And the patio was so peaceful and inviting

The house was very clean upon arrival. The kitchen seemed very well equipped but admittedly I ended up not utilizing it much. The beds were comfortable. And my husband and I really enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the evenings. And our teens loved the loft area. Overall it was the perfect place to unwind in the evenings.

This is a great place to stay. It’s super clean. The beds and fur is cozy. My grandkids loved the loft room! The shower is amazing and a cup of Keurig coffee was nice while looking out the picture window this morning. I definitely plan to use this property again.

Great house, close to down town!

First wanted to.mentioned there is someone living in the basement;however, we didnt hear or see them. It scared my daughter at first but they tenant was kind and quiet. It is a beautiful house that is very well decorated. My husband happens to be a cyclist and was so happy when he saw the books, guides and hung picture. We enjoyed every moment! My mother purchased a house in Trinidad this weekend and if we ever need another VRBO, this will be the one!

Very pleasant, quiet. Yet, Close to downtown area. We visit Trinidad CO several times a year to visit family. This location us certainly a do over. A lot of stair climbing to watch TV. The gentleman living in basement was a little surprising. He wasn’t a problem at all, just surprising?

Great house, quiet neighborhood

The house was great- very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the patio, dining room and upstairs area. It was a fun, unique space that had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Hosts were responsive and helpful. The neighborhood was incredibly quiet at night, and we had a great view of Simpson's Rest.

Unique and Clean

Such a cute place to stay! Very clean and nicely decorated. My kids loved the loft and giant Connect 4 game. There are exterior stairs to get to both doors which I did not see in the pictures. Just wanted to mention for anyone with mobility concerns. My mother has some trouble with her knees but was able to manage the backyard stairs just fine. This house was just a very short drive to a nice shopping/restaurant area. We were just passing thru Trinidad but wished we could have stayed longer to explore the town more.

Wonderful!

Spotless, new appliances, well furnished and decorated, comfy bed. Everything worked, although the tv required some practice to operate. Lots of nice touches often missing, especially in this price range. Clear information about the house and the area provided. Secure fenced yard and off street parking. Well equipped double sink, tub/shower bathroom with excellent heater. Felt like owners cared about the place and would enjoy it themselves. No doubt we would stay here again when in Trinidad!

I grew up in the Midwest, lived in Chicago for several years, and now love the mountains as much as I love all my favorite destinations, from cities (San Francisco, Chicago, London) to mountain towns (Aspen, Crested Butte and Telluride) to international bucket list destinations (Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mombasa, Marrakesh).

I believe that travel is the key to understanding different people and different cultures, and I have learned that people are fabulous all over the world!

We love Trinidad! We love the area... TWO state parks! A great lake, new mountain bike trails and gravel riding galore! We have set up our home to be a place you'll enjoy hanging out in from your first cup of coffee until the last wind down on the comfy back patio.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This house is deceptively spacious with a large semi-private loft with a separate sleeping/entertainment area, and the house is set well off the street for privacy (and a great view of the Trinidad sign!). We also have an old garage that's been converted into a bike room for anyone who needs to store or work on their bicycles while they're in town.
