Very comfortable stay. The host was excellent, very friendly and prompt with messaging. Felt incredibly welcoming. Great yard and a good kitchen as well. The location is nice, near but not in the city.

Very clean and cozy, it was perfect for our long weekend stay. We loved hanging out at the fire pit. No more than 30 minutes to the places we wanted to explore. Very pleased and would definitely stay again!

Great place

Our family of 4 plus our dog stayed here- great experience. Very clean, nice backyard for our dog to hang out. Owner was very quick to reply, it was just what our family needed!

Well appointed house in a quiet neighborhood

The house is exactly as advertised on the website. Plenty of beds, a gameroom, back deck, and firepit. The neighborhood is older with ranch homes and very quiet. Would stay again.

We were very satisfied with the property and location. It was well-maintained and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The house contained sufficient bath towels, kitchen utensils/dishes/pots, covers for couches, and toys for kids & adults. There was plenty of hot water for 3 showers and everything was clean.Our only suggestion is adding a 2nd mirror. It was a bit challenging to share the bathroom mirror with 3 adults while trying to get ready each morning. Additional kitchen towels would've been helpful too (we could only find one).

Long weekend that we all enjoyed

The house was perfect for 3 of us and my grand puppy. We enjoyed a night out on the deck along with the fire pit. I was in town to see my son and meet his girlfriend. The kitchen was stocked enough that I was able to cook a full meal. Everything was just easy and in a nice part of town.

Long term rental for relocation logistics

Moved from PA to NC on fairly short notice and was able to work with the VRBO team to get booked. This took some pressure off but gave us a limited window to find a new home in NC. Host was very responsive and when we can across some minor inconveniences we were able to get things resolved quickly. Thanks!

This was my first stay in a VRBO, and it was perfect. The home is adorable, well planned with everything I needed for my 2 week stay with my mom and our 2 dogs. The owner was quick to respond to my questions and very pleasant to work with. She gave us notice on the yard crew’s visit which was courteous and very appreciated. The neighborhood is very quiet which was a very nice change of pace for us both. My bed was very incredibly comfortable and I got caught up on some much needed sleep! The outdoor space was perfect- with a large deck and string light nights which we enjoyed with a fire pit and s’mores. The neighbors walking by with their kids and dogs were all friendly as I enjoyed quiet weekend mornings on the very cute front porch bench with my dog and a beverage. The paver patio and parking spots to the door were classy and well maintained. It’s only a few miles away from Lang Van (which we visited twice during our stay) and it’s so delicious. The home is beautiful and if we need to stay in Charlotte again in the future, we definitely stay here. 5 stars in every category!

More than adequate

Served every need we had. We rented because at the time of renting we had our AussieCollie that traveled with us everywhere. On Tuesday before a Friday check in we lost her. I informed Ms. Alonzo about our situation and when we arrived the was a card with her condolences. Could use a half bath for us older people. Great overall experience.communication and

Great neighborhood, fantastic backyard, loved having in unit laundry for the week! A couple minor downsides were all the rules posted everywhere, it didn’t make us feel very welcome or homey. No outdoor lighting in the front makes pulling into the driveway and walk up feel a little scary. Listing says pet friendly but we were asked to pay an extra 65 fee for dog after checking in (totally fine but did not see that on listing) we had to kill a few cockroaches in the kitchen (it’s in the south not the biggest deal) generally I hate staying in rentals that have you do so much like strip the beds but I understand this is very common but I didn’t expect to have to kick my dog out of the bedroom because pets aren’t allowed on the beds. The AC is preset and you can’t adjust it, it was way too hot for us. All in all it was fine, expensive for all of the rules and extra fees but worth it for the fenced in backyard.
