Spacious & Convenient to Fort Sam Houston

The location was great, as we were in town to visit our son at Fort Sam, very close to one of the gates (though you'll have to go around to the visitor center on the other side the first day to get your pass, but still not far). Plenty of room, just as described. It was nice having a shaded carport so the car wouldn't be blazing hot every time we got in it. House was nice and cool, the screened porch and backyard would be nice during cooler weather.

MCM close to Base

Overall this was a good stay. Great location to visit with son on base at JB Sam Houston. Mid-Century modern house was fun and I wanted to love this place and give 5 stars but the cleanliness of the home left a little to be desired. It was tidy with clean bedding and towels etc, but the corners, ledges and decor were dusty and dirty which made the stay much less comfortable.

Really nice place , with a retro style atmosphere. The rooms were nice size , couches are very comfortable. Not too far from shopping. Although not too many breakfast spots around but short drive gets you there

Loved this place!

Fun and funky decor and comfortable too. Plenty of space. So many nice hospitality touched from slippers, sweet tea, coffee, creamer, games and books. Good location to see sights from. Friendly, communicative host.Sweet screen porch. Lots of natural light in living room. Seating in the back yard. Highly recommended.

Holiday Stay

This property was great for our family visit to San Antonio and exactly as described. Truly appreciated the personalized note, snacks and slippers at the front door, and the love shown for our fur baby. It was a very comfortable stay!

Cute place

Very clean place and very spacious. I absolutely loved the personalized welcome card and snacks that were waiting for us when we checked in! It was nice to see there were extra toothbrushes and things in case you forgot yours. This is definitely where we plan to stay when we visit the area again!

Very nice home with outstanding customer service

I stay at alot of homes and I have to say the extra touches at this home were the best I have had in all my years of travel. They had a card with note for us when we arrived along with chips and salsa, slippers and blueberry muffins. We had to contact the owners about a couple of things and he responded immediately and took care of the problem excellently. The beds were very comfortable. It was very well stocked and the bath towels were very soft. They also knew we planned to go yo Schlitterbahn and left us beach towels to use. The home is in a nice area super close to the riverwalk and was pet friendly. They had the house cool for us upon arrival and the porch light. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us.

All Around Awesome!

Host was great to communicate with, house was exactly as described, all the small touches were fantastic. The open living room and feel to the house was exactly what I was looking for. Really enjoyed the kitchen as well. Especially loved the screened in porch. Great location, close enough to downtown to be convenient without having the issues of actually staying downtown. Thank you for sharing this amazing home with us.
