The ideal guest we cater to is seeking quality touches and upgrades. Our space is designed to inspire creativity and relaxation, with designated workspaces and a yoga/flex space that cater to remote work and artistic pursuits.
Your host saved the 60-year-old hardwood floors and the pink retro tile in the guest bathroom while doing a major update. For the discerning, health-mindful guest, there is an R/O water filtration system along with a water softener. No need to buy water bottles. We've equipped the space with high-speed Fiber-Optic wifi, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience. Original 1968 World's Fair memorabilia, some vintage 1960 furniture pieces mix nicely with a painted mural to the professionally designed decor.
The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials for cooking, major appliances, and smaller ones, including a blender, microwave, tea kettle, and three coffee makers! We have a Keurig, a brew coffee maker (which does not use paper filters), and a French press. To make your stay even more enjoyable, we provide coffee as well!
The family living room features a new 55-inch smart TV, while the yoga/flex room is great for the kids or the executive who wants to watch the markets. There is a very special recliner known as "The Perfect Chair" - great for reading a book or you might want to sleep in it all night! Although we couldn't accommodate a TV in the master bedroom, as there was no ideal place to put it, we offer a free netlist account for the two smart TVs for your entertainment needs.
Our expansive windows provide a stunning view of the backyard and patio area. Enjoy the natural beauty of the great outdoors with a clear line of sight to the firepit and meticulously maintained lawn, surrounded by magnificent mature oak trees.
We understand the importance of convenience, which is why you'll find ample USB and extra plugs/ports complete with reading lamps for each side of the bed. Our space also includes a washer and dryer, and we've stocked plenty of pods and detergent for the dishwasher and laundry.
Our bedding comprises quality memory foam mattresses, along with well-chosen quality linens and pillows. We offer the same linens as those used by Marriot Hotels. For your peace of mind, we cover every mattress and pillow with premium anti-allergenic liners.
We can provide a one-car garage for stays over 30 days while the driveway can easily accommodate 2-3 cars. Our goal is to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay, which is why we limit the number of guests to avoid overcrowding.
Play corn-hole game or Boce Ball in the back and some other outdoor, kid-friendly games. We also offer toddler cups and utensils. We provide you with extra blankets, soft comfy pillows, and blackout curtains with magnets to keep them closed tightly to ensure a peaceful night's sleep.
Finally, when in season, please enjoy some fresh garden grown tomatoes, cucumbers and basil grown in the backyard. :) Guest access You have the whole house and backyard, but the garage is not available except for longer-term stays. Other things to note We welcome children to our space, although we do not have specific child-proofing measures such as outlet protectors or cabinet protectors. Our property has been recently updated with permits pulled and many thoughtful improvements to ensure that we exceed your expectations during your stay.
Feel free to park on the gravel on each side of the driveway. We did this to make parking easier. Try to not drive or park on the white steps.
For longer stays, we may need to water the vegetables and newly planted grass to maintain their health. Please feel free to help yourself to any herbs or tomatoes from our garden.
We will provide you with an Eguide Book and a printed notebook during your stay. We are dedicated to going the extra mile to make your stay exceptional!

À propos de l’hôte
Hôte : Wade Collier
My wife and I are empty-nesters! We started our hosting journey five years ago with a guest house in the backyard. After realizing how much enjoyment hosting brought us, we have since expanded into owning several properties and starting a small family-owned business.
Vicki is a full-time Realtor in San Antonio and surrounding areas - she started her business in 2011 and is consistently ranked highly among her peers. Prior to that, she mothered our 3 kids and was a teacher to the Deaf for 16 years. Vicki is a wealth of information on the San Antonio area and she finds joy in sharing her knowledge and experiences.
Most of my time is spent on property management, hospitality, landscaping (my hobby), and following the Texas Aggie football and baseball season. My friends and family call me a "coffee snob". Please reach out if you want a great cup of coffee, or ask about my favorite place to go for good beans or craft beer.
If you like dogs, you might watch for our hound, Abby, hanging out with me. She can climb our live oak trees, get on our roof, and loves to greet our guests when invited. :)
Vicki and I enjoy grilling at home, dining at new places, and traveling. We thrive on providing exceptional 5-star experiences for our guests. Our goal is when you return to the area, you’ll reach out to seek another memorable stay!
Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement
The location is extremely convenient to nearly everything, i.e. Downtown, Airport, Fiesta TX, Medical Center, the Texas Hill Country for a trip to New Braunfels or Fredericksburg. Our small, pocket-like neighborhood is quiet, with lots of mature oak trees in most of the yards. We have a 15 ac greenbelt that is about 3 blocks where you might see deer, hawks, owls, and it's a good place to walk. We're only 2 miles from a large park full of walking trails and features the world's largest land bridge.
