Gorgeous property. So comfortable and clean and has everything you need. We felt relaxed and at home from beginning to end. As we were arriving late at night Donald thoughtfully left the door open and the lights on so we didn’t struggle in the dark. We had an amazing time.

A well appointed cozy cottage in a sweet village. Easy walking to the local coffee shop or a quick drive to the next village for supper! The kitchen was well set up and we ate in as well. Comfortable beds and a great bathroom! Donald was very quick with communication. A wonderful stay!

Beautiful spot

Lovely, spotless, spacious holiday home. Hosts were very helpful and local residents were friendly. Nice wee get away either if your looking for some relaxation or you like to explore. Hoping to book again sometime in the future.

Quiet and remote

Very good location for north of Lewis and close to beach. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Off street parking was a plus, in addition to all appliances, to include washing and drying machine.

Cosy Cottage in Ness

I stayed here for a week with my partner and my mum and dad. Cosy, comfortable and in a lovely spot. Was a bit tricky to find with the postcode so turn right at The Wobbly Dog cafe and it's on the left after the 2nd set of white lines. The cottage had everything we needed and more. We found the property more easily after checking my email and following Donald's instructions. It was perfect, very spacious 3 bdrm cottage with plenty of parking. On arrival, I was greeted with a birthday card, big box of chocolates and a big bag of crisps for my 60th birthday, which I was very grateful and delighted with! The house was very clean and cosy with heating set on a timer. Kitchen had a fab range cooker, fast microwave and nice coffee machine. The property had everything you could need and ample space for clothing. Beds were comfortable and warm, tv was great and very easy to access. Only one small thing, there was only the one toilet roll, no extras in the cupboard, but it was fine, we got some from the shop 5mins away by car. We were very near to the lighthouse and a few beaches and sand dunes. We had a wonderful chilled time. Donald and Sheena were easily contactable, great hosts and I would highly recommend this property.

Aufenthalt auf Lewis

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit und haben uns super erholt. Das Cottage ist perfekt ausgestattet und über das Begrüßungsgeschenk haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Die Eigentümer haben alles super beschrieben, z.Bsp. wie man die Heizung bedient oder ins Haus kommt. Wir würden das Cottage jederzeit wieder anmieten.

The cottage is perfectly equipped and we were very pleased with the welcome gift. The owners described everything really well, for example how to operate the heating or how to get into the house. We would rent the cottage again at any time.
