We loved this adorable apartment! It was so bright and cheerful. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. This was perfect place to relax after spending all day in Acadia. The pancake mix, syrup, and coffee was a wonderful treat. There was plenty of parking. The apartment is within walking distance of restaurants and shops. If we ever have the opportunity to visit SW Harbor again, we will definitely stay here.

The pictures do not do this place justice. Loved sitting on the deck in the mornings drinking my tea and listening to the birds as the fog rolled in and out.

We loved staying on the quiet side for our adventures in Acadia. The space was exactly as described, and very clean and comfortable. Easy walk into town for dinner, ice cream, and a few shops. Easy drive to some of the most amazing hiking and kayaking! You really can’t see or walk to the harbor immediately from the rental, but the property is lovely. We would recommend it for sure!

Just what we wanted.

The Top Deck Retreat was just what we wanted - a clean, comfortable, roomy place that was in a walkable area, with easy access to ANP. Communication with the host was excellent and instructions for use of the retreat were clear and concise. We hope to return.

Capt Mayo House for the win!

Our stay was nothing short of perfect. From the beginning Christie made everything very easy and was quick in her responses. The pictures online matched exactly where we were staying and it was spotless when we arrived. The area was quiet and within walking distance to shops/restaurants downtown Southwest Harbor. We had no concerns while we were staying and will gladly look into staying here again when we venture back up to Maine!

Location is wonderful- walking distance to town and the town pier. Friendly neighborhood. The cottage is lovely- comfortable, bright and very clean. King bed was so comfortable. Plenty of room. Well stocked with towels and linens, board games, maps of the area. We had a wonderful stay and didn’t want to leave!

AMAZING!

Truly special! This was my first time ever trying something other than a hotel and it far exceeded my expectations. The property is the perfect stay for anyone visiting the town or going to visit Acadia National Park! It is a great drive to Acadia National Park and you truly get to experience all of what the Island has to offer! Truly recommend this property to anyone who is visiting the area!!

Beautiful get-away

Excellently appointed 1BR, fully updated, clean, great location with views of harbor! Host is best ever, quickly replied to all our inquiries, had useful hiking guide books for us to use, stocked with coffee and bag of ice! No oven but has toaster oven, cook-top, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Can’t say enough about this place! Christie was super helpful!

30th Anniversary Trip

It was a wonderful place to visit and see all the sights, shops and restaurants. The towns from Boston to Bar Harbor were great stops to see. My husband enjoyed the lobster rolls and I especially enjoyed the clam chowder. Our host was perfect for her quaint place! Would love to come back again some day.

Perfect Southwest Harbor location

The Upper Deck unit was bright and sunny (as were all the days we visited in mid September!). It is the perfect location to walk to the little village to shop or eat - or to catch the wonderful and convenient Explore Bus. Despite its close location to town, the setting is quiet, with views of the harbor. We also enjoyed being able to bike to Seawall and beyond to Bass Harbor lighthouse. The unit itself was very clean, the bed comfortable, loved the electric "fireplaces" under the TV in living room and bedroom. We would definitely stay here again!

Great rental in Southwest Harbor

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was clean, matched the pictures, in a convenient location, had a great view and a smooth check in process. It was a great option for our first trip to Acadia and I wouldn't hesitate to book it again.

great apartment in SWH

Apartment in SWH was perfect! very clean apt and bathroom, linens and towels avail and quality, lovely decor, very comfortable bed, light filled apartment, outdoor sitting area w view of harbor, shared fire pit avail, easy parking on property, easy walk to downtown area with a few restaurants and shops, easy walk to Beals lobster pound, quick access to ANP. we were very comfortable here! great place to get away to the quieter side of MDI. (Apartment is attached to larger house which was occupied by another family). Christina was very responsive and we had a lovely chat with her as we were leaving! we will definitely be back and recommend to friends.

South West Harbor stay

spent 3 nights in SW Harbor. Short drive to all things Acadia minus the crazy crowds and traffic. Walking distance to some nice shops and restaurants in town. Had a great time and would love to go back.

Even better in person!

AMAZING! All around amazing! The host was so thoughtful with every little detail with our stay! Even down to a bag of ice! Also, so responsive. Our location was 20-25 minutes to everything Acadia and bar harbor which made it so easy to go back and forth each day. Walking distance to downtown SWH. We will 1000% be back and will be recommending everyone to stay here! Cheers! Lauren + Tom

Comfortable apartment in a great location

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was within easy driving distance of Acadia National Park and many other sites we wanted to visit. The neighborhood was easy to navigate and the apartment was easy to find. It was a safe, secure location in a safe neighborhood. I would recommend this apartment to friends and would stay here again.

The accommodations were very nice with everything as described, and Christie is a wonderful host. Combine that with an excellent Southwest Harbor location, and you have a great Acadia getaway.

Perfect little getaway

We loved the space and it's walkability to southwest harbor shops and hiking. We watched the sunrise at seawall campground, a short drive away. It was a great spot to be stationed while exploring all of acadia's beauty. great host, great space, would love to stay here again!
