The cabin was just what we needed, master bedroom was big enough for two people and two dogs, and my mother was comfortable in the back bedroom as well as the two bathrooms were very roomy. The living room and kitchen was very spacious and the deck was lovely during the morning coffee and evening drink. Tyler was available when need, great host!

We loved our stay at this comfortable mountain retreat. The host was welcoming. The property was tastefully decorated for the holidays and was the perfect place to make family memories! There was something fun for everyone in our family: easy access to Breck for skiing. Great hiking trails at Blue Lakes less than a 5 min drive. The hot tub was a hit after a long day on slopes. The older kids loved the garage room with pool and games. The kitchen was fully equipped for all meals. We enjoyed watching wildlife outside our window! We even saw a red fox! You feel like you’re away from it all tucked up in the mountains, but still have easy access to all you need!

You can’t beat the views from the deck, windows and while walking around in the neighborhood. Truly beautiful views.

Beautiful place to stay.

Very nice place to stay. Very clean, great location. Quik drive to the slopes. I give it a 5 star rating. The only thing that almost made it a 4 star rating was the size of bedrooms. Smaller than what we thought. But not that big of a deal.

Great Stay!

We came up for a weekend of skiing. Great property! Very clean, cute and comfortable. Owner was very responsive. The property was convenient to skiing, but also in a quiet and peaceful setting nestled in the woods. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife every day. There was a lot of snow when we went, so we are looking forward to staying at this property again in the summer. Highly recommend!

Clean and Comfy

The place was super clean, probably the cleanest I've ever seen as a rental. Great view with a super comfortable sofa. Great for napping! Also great/quick communication. We enjoyed the wood burning stove and that added to the ambience. It was smaller than I thought in the pictures - and there is some walking from the parking area up a hill and then stairs, but it was a nice place. Overall, a nice place.

Big Bear

House was as advertised. Spectacular views from deck! Kitchen well equipped with an outdoor grill with a full propane tank to boot which we cooked steaks one evening. Host was very easy to communicate with. Don't know if this is a seasonal thing, but the garage was turned into a man cave of sorts with foosball table, darts and pool table. Very clean and spacious. Would stay again when in the area.

Spring Break Get Away

We enjoyed the location and the cabin. It was great to have tv's in all of the bedrooms so that the older kids could watch their shows in their rooms. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the beauty that surrounded us. We had a fox visit us while we were all seated at the kitchen table for dinner. He sat right in front of the kitchen window. It was very peaceful and quiet. The beds were not very comfortable. We ended up sleeping on the pullout sofa which wasn't clean or comfortable but better than the memory foam bed in the master bedroom. There was a ton of snow on the deck so we did not have access to the back side of the house. It seemed dangerous to have so much snow and ice on the roof which could slide off as the temperature was getting warmer. It was a long trek up snow and ice to carry all of our groceries and bags into the cabin. Thank you Tyler for responding so quickly when we had questions or needed assistance.

Hey Daphane, I’m really sorry you didn’t have a 5 star stay! This is the first 4 star or less review we’ve ever received! If you had any issues with the stay, I wish you would have reached out so I could have tried to accommodate you! I want everyone to have a 5 star stay! The beds are new and the king mattress is a $6k tempur pedic mattress! We did just add mattress toppers also after your stay but we usually get a lot of praise on the beds! I’m sorry you didn’t like them! I apologize for any inconvenience. I wish I would have had the opportunity to make it better during your stay, not hear about it after. Thank you for choosing Bigbear!

Beautiful Home & Very Comfortable! We spent 5 days up on top of the mountains, above the trees, with amazing views! We saw huge moose walk by our windows, beautiful blue birds, squirrels & even noticed bear tracks in the driveway & street. We felt safe & slept wonderfully in the plush beds. Beautiful decor, plenty of dishes, lots of hot water,plenty of room to spread out. A truly luxurious adventure! And the Hosts were friendly & always available. Exceptional!

This house is located in a quiet and peaceful Mountain neighborhood with AMAZING mountain views! The views are unmatched! Yet, its still a quick 10-15 min drive into the city of Breckenridge! Its far enough away to be peaceful but close enough to enjoy all of the amenities that city offers! We love it!

The views! This home has amazing views from house windows as well as the deck and many other areas on the property. It is remote and peaceful but yet close to the amazing city of Breckenridge. You will often see wildlife outside of the home! The heated garage also boasts a "Man Cave" with foosball table, pool table, dart board, bags, fridge, couch, table/chairs, smart tv, and Bluetooth stereo.
