After a day of golf, or shopping at Pier Park Shopping Complex, it feels so good to soak in the soothing waters of the resort hot tub.

A wall of sliding glass doors leads out to your balcony that overlooks the Gulf. There’s nothing like watching the sunset over the water from your high perch in the living room or the balcony. The studio sofa couch transitions into a sleeper bed for two, and there’s a large flat-screen TV where you and your friends can watch a movie.

VRBO asks about the view it was over the pool and facing SE so great. The room could use some upgrading, there is a one inch gap below the door and the winds blow in dust and dirt including the dryer vent lint. I guess we were supposed to damp mop the sand and dirt from the floor, maybe they should supply a vacum because the broom was old and not doing the job. Last comment is we killed 3 cockroaches it seemed everytime we turned the bathroom light on after returning to the room there would be one, The last one returned to the overflow in the sink but we flushed him out and killed him. Maybe cleaning should regularly flush all the overflows as this is a common hidding place a little bleach would kill future eggs.

Loved the view from my room! The room was perfect for me and my partner! Loved that it was clean, the hotel pool, hot tubs and bar was great! Everything I need in walking distance, literally right next to the hotel. Great experience

Overall it was a good experience! i received excellent service from the staff of Southern Vacation Rentals and immediate responses to my questions. The bathroom was clean and well stocked with towells, and although the kirchen could use some updates, everything worked well! A keurig coffee maker would be a good addition.

Great place! Pool and poolside bar were amazing! Security did a fantastic job keeping those not staying on property off the grounds. Check in was quick and smooth!

Short getaway

This place was perfect for a short getaway! The pullout couch was a little broken, but the bed was super comfortable! I recommend for anyone trying to get away for a vacation!

This place is nothing fancy. Affordable but the entire grounds smelt like weed the entire trip. The elevators were clogged and got stuck often. The parking garage is super tight so drive a smaller vehicle if possible. The room needs some updates.

Not a family place

The room was nasty. We had stains on our sheets and pillows. The ceiling fan had alot of dust on it. Our dishes were dirty.

Cons- the condition of condo needs attention. Toilet paper holder was broken. The AC unit was leaking, the room was dusty, especially the ceiling fan and there was dust and fuzz stuck to the wall where the headboard is. Not very visible during the day, but st night, when you turn the lamp on, you can see it perfectly. We had to put a bucket underneath the ac unit in the balcony bc of the leak. If not, we were stepping in water puddles. Pros- great location, great view, studio had everything I needed, the pool was beautiful and definitely busy, if you love crowds.

Room needs a good cleaning.

The room was not clean.....need to find new cleaning company. Would not stay in this room again....needs some owner attention. I'm a rental property owner.

I internet went out a few times. Couldn’t stream. The tv said poor internet connection. The shower water was cold. Had a problem with the door and had to call the locksmith. It was easy to get ahold of the property management but getting anything fixed was a different story. Had to pay additional 70 for parking and wristbands which I did not see in the listing. The pillow cases were either dirty from the closet or stained. They had a toilet plunger under the sink where we were supposed to put our bathroom toiletries? The facility itself is nice. The elevator stayed broken on our side of the condo so we would have to wait 20 minutes. The parking is a pain. My daughter got sick and instead of leaving from deck 12 in the parking garage that takes 10 minutes to get out of, they had a vending machine with medicine that was over priced.

Panama City

Property manager did not pay for wristbands. That was not clear to me. And since other members of our party DID have the wristbands in their room when they checked in I was confused Room was changed day of check-in so Property Manager was trying to text/email/call while I was driving and in traffic.

Our sheets were sandy when we got there but they were quick to help change them. The room was as pictured and the view from balcony was amazing. We were contacted an hour before arrival stating there was an ac leak and that we wouldn’t be able to stay and tried to give us one of there other condos that was not in the same area as shores of Panama and the condo didn’t have a big pool and all the other amenities we paid for. I called and talked to multiple people with southern vacation rentals while also getting text messages from them. One lady on the phone said that the room wasn’t in great condition (which I understand bc of the leak) I asked if the ac still worked and she wouldn’t tell me but the person texting me said it did work but still leaked and that we could have 50% of our money back if we wanted to stay there. The lady on the phone was ignoring the fact that someone from their company was telling me that we could still stay there (I kept telling her I would like to stay at the shores of Panama) she said she already changed the booking to the other place and couldn’t go back on it. I was very upset because we wanted to stay there. My father in law ended up calling and finally someone let us switch back to shores of Panama with 50% refunded. All in all we had a great time and everything else was clean. Just dealt with a lot of miscommunication from the rental company.
