PRIME LOCATION! Why Knot Getaway is an adorable studio in Downtown Beaufort on Front Street overlooking the water of Taylor's Creek-great location for a coastal getaway! This prime spot is perfect for relaxing, strolling the waterfront boardwalk, and enjoying local shopping and restaurants. It also includes free parking with its own dedicated parking spot in the rear parking lot. Enjoy birds eye views of Beaufort, Carrot Island and Taylor's Creek on the common area rooftop and midfloor decking!

This is a 240 sq ft rooftop studio condo in a historic building in the center of downtown Beaufort. This unit has been completely renovated and designed and includes a comfortable queen bed with a Kitchenette and beautiful mosaic tile work in the shower and floors. There is a rooftop deck overlooking the harbor where you can enjoy sunrises or sunsets with your coffee or cocktails.

It is the perfect location to walk to all the wonderful restaurants, bars, shops, museums and day cruises - use our free parking and not worry about driving until you have to leave! You are only a ferry ride away to the beautiful beaches of Cape Lookout. Also, you can take a boat tour to Carrot Island to sit on the beach, Sand Dollar Island to get bucket fulls of sand dollars or see the wild horses at Shackleford Banks. Feel free to bring your own boat and store it at the Beaufort Docks or Boathouse Marina as well. Lots to do and the perfect getaway!

Perfect location

Beaufort is such a nice little town with great shops, ferries and restaurants within walking distance. We stayed three nights and never once used our car. This unit is the perfect size for just two people. It's designed so smartly to make great use of every square inch. Loved the rooftop patio! The host could not be more friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again!

A gem in Beaufort

Charming accommodations in a perfect location along Front Street. Morning coffee on the roofdeck was a treat watching horses on Carrot Island. Clean, safe and well-appointed with anything you need for a short stay! Hosts are exceptionally gracious.

Nice THX getaway

Awesome location in Beaufort, we were in town from Seattle visiting family in Morehead City. A very good use of a very tiny space and super comfortable. Just across the street from Backstreet Pub and walkable to everything. Do yourself a favor and book a reservation at Aqua for dinner, they are top notch!

Perfect Get Away!!!

Out stay in Why Knot Get Away unit F was perfect. The condo was just the right size for 2 adults. The space was so well optimized, beautifully decorated and very clean. Roof top deck was so nice to watch the marina and wild horses on Carrot Island. The owners are so kind and answered many questions before the trip. I can’t wait to stay again.

Location was fantasic

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and had the best time! The location is fantastic! It's right ontop all the shops and restaurants on Front Street! Everything is so close there is no need to venture further :) The accomidations in our room were so stinking cute! It was all we needed for our 2 day get away. The top deck that overlooks the water was perfect to relax and look at the water/sunbathe!! We will most certainly be back!! While we were there we met the onwers and they were fantastic themsleves! Can't go wrong staying at this precious location!!

A Weekend to Remember

Check in was easy and having an assigned parking spot worked great as parking is limited in the area. The unit had everything we needed for our stay. We had dinner at Moonrakers as well as drinks and lunch the following day. We took the ferry to Shackleford banks and packed lunch. There were SO many shells, I wish we had brought a bag for them! Then we had a very intimate sunset sail on a private yacht with Crystal Coast Sailing Excursions. Captain Tony was great and the whole experience was WAY more fun than the traditional sight-seeing cruise. Breakfast next door at Marmalade Cafe and Bakery was delicious. I cannot tell you how great it was to literally never have to drive for our entire 3 night stay! Also the tile in the bathroom was really cool. We loved the place and would highly recommend!
