Several BEAUTIFUL hiking/nature trails and Lake Michigan Overlook within 15 minute drive. 20 minutes to Crystal Mountain and 3 public golf courses.

Back again!

We enjoyed another beautiful week in the Crescent Bakery guesthouse. Great location, comfortable beds and wonderful memories with family and friends.

Spacious and great location

Spacious condo with classic charm. Roomy older kitchen with the needed basics. Great sunroom with views of the Betsie. Front door exits next door to bakery, very convenient! Restaurants, shops and beach just a short walk down the street. Very friendly owner, even notified us that we could check in early. We had a great time!

Our family had an amazing stay in this condo! It was just what we were looking for, with some great character, and lots of space for 5 adults plus a baby. The sunroom was definitely the best spot in the condo, and we really enjoyed the water views from there. We were also thrilled that there was a real crib and a high chair, which were great for traveling with a baby! The host was very communicative and kind, and answered any messages promptly. The location was wonderful, with everything in Frankfort walkable, including the great bakery below the condo. Frankfort Beach on Lake Michigan was just a short walk away, and is a gorgeous place to take photos and watch sunsets. Sleeping Bear Dunes is a reasonable half hour drive away so this is also a great place to stay if you’d like to visit there! We absolutely recommend this place and would love to stay here again if we make another trip to the area!

Perfect Location!

Perfect location - in town close to everything and walking distance to the beach. The sun porch is amazing with a great view! And having the bakery below us was fantastic - so delicious!!

Spacious and Amazing Location

The condo could not have been better. It was spacious and had a great feel to it in the heart of Frankfort. The back patio is outstanding with views of the bay and lake. With parking right out back and steps from everything in the town you can’t ask for more. Great stay and property!

Stay in Frankfort

The place is very large and has a great sun porch with a view. Convenient to the beach and downtown. Nice to walk everywhere.

Great location

The bakery condo worked well for our family of 5. It’s surprisingly spacious and a great location in town. We worried that they bakery below might be loud in the mornings but it wasn’t at all. Our kids enjoyed the close proximity to morning donuts.

View by the bay

Cute and spacious apartment for 6 adults. Located right downtown and by a few bars, restaurants, and local shops. The bakery downstairs was delicious! Thunderstorm came rolling in on our last night and we got to watch it come in over the lake. We had a great time!

Great In-Town Condo

Historical building and condo that has plenty of room on entire 2nd level above bakery. Our family was very comfortable for a 5-night stay. Owner's communication is awesome.

Multi Generational Fun in Frankfort

The condo was great. The beds were very comfortable, the towels very nice. The kitchen had everything needed but still plenty of room for groceries or our own items. The crib had an organic sheet which was appreciated. Our group from 1 to 60+ felt comfortable and happy with the location.

Great view

Loved the view from the three season porch over Betsy Lake. Location is so convenient, we really appreciated that. Didn't supply washcloths or dish cloths, but plenty of towels. Floor could have been cleaner, a little sticky in spots. Overall, we loved it and look forward to staying again next year for our annual autumn color tour.

Family vacation

We had a great stay. Everything was as advertised. Location was fantastic, right across the street from all the shops and restaurants. The bakery below was fantastic as well! Was about a 5 minute walk to the beach which was perfect. The sunroom on the back was wonderful and so relaxing. The host was very reachable. We had an issue while there and he responded promptly and without hesitation to resolve the issue swiftly. The beds were rather hard but we adjusted after some time. We wanted to stay again but the dates we wanted a year in advance were taken too quickly after our stay. Grateful for a wonderful stay and will be back again!

Don’t miss this gem!

Great property! Spacious apartment in the middle of Frankfort. Walk to beach, marina, park. Lots of dining options. Property owner was amazing and easy to work with- super attentive to renters needs. 3 large bedrooms, comfortable beds and bedding. Lots of towels. Full kitchen and dining. 2 full baths and laundry room. Beautiful town views from master and lake/marina views from all season room. Beautiful sunsets! Nice and comfortable family area. I would definitely recommend and would stay again. Parking and check in/out is super easy.

New Favorite Michigan Home-base

I usually dont write reviews and selfishly I don't want anyone else to know about this place (we want to come back and have no competition!). This was the perfect home-base for our northern michigan vacation. My husband, one year old, and three year old were very comfortable here. We all ended up sleeping in the master bedroom together. There is a crib in there and plenty of room for another mattress for our thee year old. There are two other bedrooms as well, so great for older kids, multiple families, etc. The place is so clean and a nice layout for families. The kids could sleep peacefully while my husband and I had two comfy living rooms to choose from to hangout and talk while not disturbing the kids. The location for this place is perfect - a nice distance for day trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes, platte river, traverse city, etc. Frankfort itself is a lovely little town. You can walk to ice cream, beach and playground in minutes. Our favorite thing about this condo is the AMAZING bakery on the forst floor! Open 7am-2pm, they have the best donuts, coffee, sandwiches, bread, etc. Just walk downstairs to the best breakfast ever each morning and buy sandwiches for a packed lunch!
