Rustic bungalow located in a campground

Very unique bungalows located in a campground on lakefront property. Bungalows have a very open floor plan with no rooms or interior walls. You walk in to a queen bed and a set of full size bunk beds. Also included is electricity, a mini fridge and table. Outside the bungalow you will find a fire pit, picnic table and a small charcoal grill. There is no running water in the cabin and the BATHROOMS ARE LOCATED A SHORT DISTANCE AWAY (25 feet) within the campground and include warm showers and flushing toilets. Drinkable water also located at the campground. At just under 200 square feet, bungalows are very cute and cozy. Built in 2020. Perfect way to get away on a budget.

Bungalows and bathrooms are heated and open year-round.

There is a camp store onsite with all your camping essentials including firewood, fire starter, ice cream, ice, soft drinks, snacks, coffee, pizza, camping gear and so much more. Please note, store is not open in the winter.

Bring your own pillows, blankets, linens and towels. There is also no kitchen, so you would need to bring all your own food preparation needs. There is a charcoal grill.

On site is great fishing with pontoon boat rentals available. Kayak, canoe and stand up paddle boards also available for rent. 1/4 mile to snowmobile and ORV trails. Great lake for ice fishing.

Nice but no power

Cute camper cabin and we were looking forward to relaxing after a long day of exploring. 20 minutes after arriving, power was lost and we never did get it. The owners offered ice and flashlights but still charged the full rate. Shower by flashlight was interesting! Unable to use fans, fridge or charge phones. The fridge leaked all over the floor. Not sure I would stay there again. It seemed clean but there weren’t any lights to know.

Thanks for your review and the opportunity to clarify the situation. Our main power box bringing in electricity was hit by lighting and we lost power to the entire campground. A completely random act of god that was beyond our control. We offered all guests flashlights to be able see and placed lanterns in all the bathrooms. We offered free ice and coolers to everyone to keep your food from spoiling. The refrigerator didn’t “leak,” it defrosted from no electricity. I apologize that it got your floor wet. In the midst of the crisis we did everything we could to make it right for our customers. Sometimes things happen and you can only do your best and make the best out of a bad situation. I feel we did the best we could for the situation we were dealt. I’m sorry if you felt our efforts weren’t enough. The problem has since been fixed and all electrical outages have been restored.
